This notice was found posted to the door of the Battalion Chiefs office at the Dyment Row Fire Station. From the intel that we got, the fire station had been overrun by zeds and retaken by survivors a number of times before our unit did a complete sweep of the premises. Outside of personal items left by the dead and things abandoned by fleeing survivors, there was nothing else worth retrieving. -Lt. Price Faban, Stabilization Force – Red sector

Malton Fire Department (MFD) & Malton Police Department (MPD)

TO ALL PERSONNEL

Be advised that ALL first responders in the Malton area are being reassigned and re-tasked. With the citywide quarantine in effect and the unknown nature of the apparently airborn disease evidently affecting all residents, we are suspending traditional FIRE and EMS responses. ALL Fire and EMS personnel and all MFD apparatus are now under the jurisdiction of the Malton Police Department. Any and all medical or fire calls will be routed to the police department and dispatch decisions will be made by police and military personnel.

At no time will any FIRE or EMS units be dispatched without an ARMED military escort. This cannot be stressed enough. Between the armed gangs roaming the streets and the so called “zombies” that have been attacking our teams for the past months, we are no longer functioning in a rescue capacity but rather as support unit for the quarantine forces. Civilian personnel are no longer to be treated outside of Fort Creedy & Fort Perryn. Civilian Personnel outside of these areas are to be considered “at risk” and treated as hostiles until they are processed by the military and declared safe.
