Following is a partial transcript of the contents of a personal journal, retrieved from the Quarantine Zone by means classified. The Ministry has been able to confirm that the Handwriting on it belongs to sociology Professor Thomas Chambers

I'm still at the Kitting Museum, and we have been able to defend ourselves pretty decently. It isn't a surprise that Houldenbank, with its important homeless community, is almost completely overrun by this disease. But there are at least two things worth mentioning at this point about the homeless and the future (yes, there is a future, although I don't think it will be a good one).

First the Cannibal prophets, as I like to call them, are beginning to win some followers, even amongst those who used to tell them get a job prior to the outbreak. I guess the biggest attraction is safety, since the zombies appear to protect them. I just wonder if that is just some kind of Pavlovian response or true intelligence. If I survive a while longer, just enough to see what happens to the prophets and their followers when the "food source" isn't enough to keep the zombies happy, I will have my answer.

The second is more of an anecdote. Our leader, or as I call him, the "king of our Castle" was homeless BQ (Before the Quarantine). Most of us wouldn't have looked at him twice on those days (except officer Price, they know each other from before), but now, we all do what he asks, and I can see that a big majority here looks up to him.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that what you did, or even who you where before the quarantine doesn't matter any more, the only important thing is what you do now.
