Necrotech Advanced Operations Report Agent Codename - Lincoln Covert observation of the 193rd Infantry Company is now complete. In Summary: Day 1 Initial helicopter drop successful, however several members dropped far from target. Initial strongpoint secured. Of note, initial broadcast frequency as specified in pre-insertion report has been abandoned, due to local broadcast interference. Day 2 Thermal scans show all military personnel are accounted for. Following standard sweep and clear procedure all standing zombies in a 5 block radius have been eradicated. Initial studies of corpses show soldiers to have poor knowledge of Zombie physiology, as no headshots were apparent. Day 4 Heated conflict continues, but the group is divided with several patrols out searching for supplies. Local area is well lit and several soldiers are exhibiting signs of increased survivability. Day 6 Sufficient barricades now exist for defence purposes; however 20% of the Company are now lost or missing. Downloaded Necronet scans suggest large increase in background zombie activity over the next few days. Day 8 Major losses. Only 24 members of the initial force remain alive. Individuals remaining seem to be those most adaptable to new situations. Central to their failure is the inability to give up their interim base. Experienced survivor interaction was a cause of concern, but the individual left after stealing spare uniform. No further action deemed necessary. Recommendations At this stage the entire unit could be stopped with the "removal" of 3 key individuals. Lack of revival knowledge means that the Company could be effectively wiped out in a matter of days. I await your final orders. – Lincoln.
