Zombies almost always check inside. Some are often used as literal fortresses, and are sometimes so heavily barricaded that it is impossible to enter without Free Running. Tagging a police station earns 2 XP. They are listed as a Tactical Resource Point. Police Stations can be barricaded normally.

An entryway into the southeast quadrant of the guarded suburb East Becktown, this Police Department, located at coordinates 24,39, is now the main base of operations for the Tactical Assault Containment Service.

This building has been Very Heavily barricaded so anyone wishing to enter must have the free running skill to be able to enter. The Lonely Row Police Department has been overrun in a coordinated attack by zombies from the Militant Order of Barhah on February 20th, 2008. Only one survivor escaped.
