I did not get a recent request, TACS is still active despite the low numbers, i'm not exactly sure how to add our URL properly into the link because i'm not a heavy user on the wiki. nevermind i got it working

Also, zombie numbers low, survivor count rising, danger level going to moderate. -kaboose117 10:58, 19 August 2008 (EST)

[edit] August 19th

After recent requests solicited no response, the following group links have been removed from the suburb.

If any of these groups are still active, please add them again. --Rosslessness 13:30, 19 August 2008 (BST)

All but a few buildings are ruined. Stagg is still operating with occasional break-ins. All other resource buildings are down. A healthy spread of between two and four feral zombies per block. Not safe. ~ Sirs 20:17, July 15 2008 (EST)

[edit] July 6th

I saw 80 standing zombies on the streets of Lukinswood -- not including SW quarter, which I did not get to. 28 of these are outside the besieged Stagg NT building [1]. But survivors from Lukins and afar are making progress: ruins are steadily getting fixed, 'cades are coming up, and most resources buildings are in survivor hands, though mostly unpowered [2] [3]. --WanYao 14:40, 6 July 2008 (BST)

[edit] April 8th

Lukinswood lies in ruins, unsafe by any stretch of the imagination. Continued presence by The Dead is keeping progress at a minimum. Ackland Mall is doing well, look for refuge there.

[edit] April 4th

Survivors can now safely pass over from Lukinswood into East Becktown, due to a strong DEM presence in the area. Cross-suburb cooperation seems to flourish, as hosts of survivors traverse the border daily in search of supplies and gossip. Tle local zombies are pointed at rudely and serve as a tourist attraction. East Becktown salutes its brothers in arms in Lukinswood! *sounds of a massive party can be heard throughout Malton, as both suburbs celebrate their victories*--MaxFloyd 18:54, 4 April 2008 (BST)

Don't take all the credit, Ten Minutes from Hell and the remnants of TACS have been helping out greatly as well. Our precense is what helped bring Stagg back and kept revives constant. -kaboose117

((feel free to edit this bit of news and keep talk to the "discussions section" - I was not sure who in particular took part, my bad. peace--MaxFloyd 23:39, 4 April 2008 (BST)))

This is no joke, Lukinswood is actually doing well! or at least better. Not an april fools prank. -kaboose117

[edit] March

[edit] March 26th

I didn't come across a single unruined building except one or two on the south border. Update to red. Rthe1st

[edit] March 24th

Still not much talk in the forums? We really need to have more representatives to post new ideas here! We need new authority and new alliances in this burb, the old aren't really doing much atm. So feel free to add input. -kaboose117 out

[edit] March 22th

I'd like to apologize for screwing up with the update on the danger level, tried to get it to Dangerous, failed miserably. Anybody wanna fix it? Sorry bout the mess up. But yeah, not much zombie response, and not a ghost town, so I'd say just Dangerous for now. -kaboose117

[edit] March 18th

I would consider upgrading this suburb to Very Dangerous. Though I haven’t explored the whole suburb (especially the North part) all buildings I came across were ruined, bar the NT which was unbarricaded and empty (now ruined courtesy of moi) and a Junk yard with VH barricades. Rthe1st

[edit] March 17th

Lukinswood is still a bit unstable, but we are recovering.

[edit] February 29th

Now that Ackland Mall has been taken, and the Crimson Clan has been routed from Havercroft, rumor has it that the MOB will return to Lukinswood to finish the job that was started nine days ago. Survivors are cautioned yet again to avoid staying outdoors and to seek shelter in hardened buildings. The recommendation to learn free-running is a sound one. It may be we will see some excitement here soon.--FLZombie 21:44, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

Recent External Military report: "... reporting from Lukinswood, I've got over a hundred active ... a few big groups, but they're spread out ... several buildings with power ... serious collateral damage ... the Stagg Building has lights on ..." --WanYao 11:21, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] February 22nd

Update: I'd like to report that St. Elisabeth's Hospital is under attack with upwards of 40 survivors holding. The nearby Withyman Street Police Department fell to zombie attacks; it is ransacked and there are several zombies still lurking inside. All survivors should get to a VSB or stronger safehouse, and if they have the energy, should be heading south as fast as they possibly can. St. Elisabeth's is holding for now but that is constantly being contested. Mark Z Danielewski 00:56 (EST) Feb.22, 08

Large groups of zeds from MOB have been exiting the eastern part of the map - heading toward the Ackland Mall in Havercroft, soon after they heard it was a rallying point for Lukinswoood defenders. Hopefully, this suburb has seen the last of this group of zeds.--FLZombie 11:05, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] February 21st

BREAKING NEWS: The neighboring suburb of East Becktown has been declared "Very Dangerous". All survivors are cautioned to keep their guard up, and to rest in large groups and avoid staying out in the open for long periods of time. The peaceful appearance of things in Lukinswood can change very quickly.--FLZombie 02:21, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

Oh good, some activity! Someone should go alert the mall rats, they're bound to be as bored as I am. Good luck, maybe the lunar eclipse is a SIGN Sirs 21:51 (EST) Feb. 20, 08
Reports are streaming in about casualties at the Jensen Boulevard Police Department, Dales Boulevard Fire Department, and Withyman Street Police Department. This last one housed almost 60 survivors - many of whom were low level new players that were unable to seek refuge in an EHB mall to the southeast. Needless to say, it is unknow how many of these survived. Casualty estimates range from 25-35 and maybe even more among the three incidents within the first hour of the attacks. Lukinswood has no effective police department at this time! Feeding groans were clearly heard all over the northern half of this suburb. Apparently, even EHB structures were no match for highly coordinated attacks from the MOB. The MOB is again "feeding" zeds by dragging some wounded survivors and leaving them at the doorsteps of attacked buildings in an apparent bizarre ritualistic good will gesture for unaffiliated zeds. The effect is being noticed by dozens of "feral" zombies that are streaming in from the south and from the west. Nobody knows what the MOB is after, or what their intentions are, but it has become clear that they will achieve it at all costs. Survivors are urged to evacuate and move out of the way of the advancing hordes.--FLZombie 12:38, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
Bah! Nothing but MOB propaganda.Lukinswood is doing well. I would like remind everyone that not having free running is suicidal, that Stagg is the ultimate priority of the suburb, and that Ackland is the fall back point. Good luck, Sirs feb 21, 08 20:43 (EST)

I've come from Quarlesbank, which has recently been attacked by Extinction, a pro-zom group. I'm waiting for a revive in Rayner Crescent, and I keep getting attacked. I'd really, really appreciate it if someone could get to me soon. I want to go home and fight the good fight. --Amy Flood 02:38, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

Amy: Best you use the Revivification Request Tool. I can't guarantee anything for Lukinswood, but that usually is the best way to get a quick revive. --Cruzz 09:48, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
Thanks to whoever got to me. Cruzz, I'll remember the Revivification Request Tool in the future. --Amy Flood 13:15, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

RPs still appear to be completely unmanned..... except for the player Weedian, who killed me at one and then killed me while I was on my way to the other. Thanks for killing the guy whose profile says "revive me, don't hit me." Timdredge, 8 February 2008

[edit] February 5th

RPs appear to be completely unmanned -- been standing at first one, then the other for a total of about 3 or 4 days now with no sign of a revive. Thanks for nothing. Shambling off to another 'burb... -- Zeke Trout 09:34, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

Stagg, the hospital, and Withyman are all doing well. Most buildings are barricaded, rev lines are low or non-existent. The exciting news is that it appears Jaska is back up and running. Jaska, a statement maybe? Sirs Jan 12, 2007 13:49 (EST)

What can I say? I just had to come by to check out my home. I found out that some nasty people had infested St. Lizzie's so I decided to clean up the waste and toss 'em into the streets of Lukinswood ;) Good to see y'all alive and well (but not for long). -The original dweller of St. Lizzie's Piirasen Jaska [GMT + 02:00 Wednesday, 23 January 2008 00:33:34]

[edit] December 31st

Happy new years to all! Stagg is lit and running, and revives queues are lowering. And to all who have not yet realize, you have a 1/8 chance of finding a syringe each time you search an NT (lit or unlit.) Do your research kids. -kaboose117 23:10 Dec 31 2007, (EST)

[edit] December 16th

Efforts are being made to take back Stagg, as revives for a couple suburbs around are backed up. All PDs, Hospitals, and most miscellaneous buildings in Lukinswood are ruined and empty. There's a thin smattering of 1-2 zeds on almost every block in the suburb. Sirs 17:30 Dec 16 2007, (EST)

[edit] December 10th

Withyman PD took heavy casualties, but appears to be recaded. Twenty or so bodies outside, with a dozen zeds standing. Milty McCrae 07:49, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

Stagg is ruined and St. Liz has about 20 zeds in it at the moment. Oddly, almost none of the zeds have been identified as being part of any one group. They should be outta here like a summer storm though, hold in there. Sirs Dec 10 07, 19:35 (EST)

Small groups of zombies are appearing around Ackland mall. Hopefully the AMS will arrive and save us all. --Matt the harper 20:17, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] December 5th

Many radio broadcasts have hinted at a possible organised attack on Ackland mall or Lukinswood. These broadcasts have hinted that the RRF is behind this movement. I went searching for an operational NT builing and ran into a large group of zombies surrounding the The Stagg Building. I got back to Ackland as fast as I could and sent out a few warning broadcasts on the 27.50 radio frequency before my AP ran out. God Save Malton! --Matt the harper 23:30, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the thought, but Ackland is still in denial that this is a problem in general. Better just to tell AMS to get back to Ackland. Sirs 7:11 Dec 6 2007 (EST)

[edit] December 2nd

The survivors of the suburb of Lukinswood have prospered in a manner so successful and enduring that they have finally brought upon themselves the wrathful attention of the RRF and the ever-so-helpful accompanying death cultists, PKers, GKers, and treacherous cowards. It looks like we've got another angry, organized horde with their sights on tiny Lukinswood. Here we go again... --Bartleson James 03:49, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] October 31st

Happy Halloween! We here in Lukinswood like to take scary TO A NEW LEVEL! A little reminder (recently broadcast on the radio), due to several friendly fire incidents, zombie/frankenstien masks are discouraged.

Other than that, party hardy harry! Zombies and survivors alike, we're all damned anyway. Answer any thuds or knocks with some stale candy, and take the fog as a chance to slink around unseen. Have fun! Sirs Oct. 31 2007, 9:01 (BTC)

[edit] October 18th

Kaboose has obtained his birthday present, which is the lowering of the danger status. We're now at moderate. time to celebrate. yay -kaboose117

[edit] October 12th

Jensen, St Liz, Stagg along with other resource buildings have been dropping quickly. All survivors are urged to be vigilante and keep buildings your holding up in unpowered and heavily caded.. We suggest that low level players move to one of the surrounding suburbs and hold up there untill the situation can be contained, TACS personnel will be working to resecure key buildings... -Colonel Thomas Rodgers

[edit] October 11th

40+ zeds on the NT scanner yesterday, no idea of current status. Updating Danger Report... -Copperbill

70+ zeds broke into NT... status is now dangerous. That's definitely an organized horde. either that, or a huge zerger problem, but i won't jump to conclusions. -kaboose

40+ zeds broke into the hospital last night in under a minute. I'm not jumping to anything but the nearest revive point. It went from 4 zeds outside to friggn' 40. This is a very organized horde. All 13 survivors inside were killed in under two minutes. I have screen shots. As of now, I would advise people to focus on taking back Stagg, but sleeping elsewhere...far far away. The hospital is not a priorty now for anyone but my team. Stagg, keep Stagg! Sirs Oct. 11 2007 20:10
Organised is what they are, they are.

[edit] October 7th

Just as a heads up to all citizens of Lukinswood, TACS will now begin posting transmissions every couple days or so informing the residents and visitors of Lukinswoods status. The messages will be broadcasted on the Lukinswood 26.05 frequency, so please tune in to listen.... As everyone has noticed, the zed numbers are down, many building are powered and secured, and many people have begun moving in and calling Lukinswood their home. Our status is currently safe, i believe we could indeed call this the "Emerald City" once more.... -Colonel Thomas Rodgers

[edit] October 5th

[edit] September 26th

Well, minimal zombie presence in central, NE, and NW districts, so I deem this burb safe. -kaboose

[edit] September 24th

Holy cow, no one's posted in awhile. Everywhere in the east is safe, the west remaining unstable. Revives are flowing smoothly, and gennys are being applied libraly. Remember to tune in and transmitt info on 26.05. One short day in the Emerald City. Sirs 18:33 Sept. 24 (BCT)

Well, the central district does well too, and zombie activity seems at a minimum. Thanks to TACS and unaffiliated survivors (correct me if I'm wrong) Stagg has been retaken along with surrounding areas. Revives go smoothly as stated above. G'day

-kaboose

[edit] September 12th

The diagnosis on Lukinswood is a good one. We are rebuilding and have the pleasure of harboring new survivor groups like the The Warriors, if only for a short time. Buildings are being repaired, and break-ins are fewer. Most major buildings are secure. It should be re-stated that revive points are still at Lacey Walk and Rayner Crescent, though Rayner is more active.

And because the actions of our neighbors can affect Lukinswood's condition, the following has been agreed upon by 2/3 major groups of Lukinswood. Through a recent upheaval in the AMS, Tarumigan Gistarai was forced from Havercroft. And while we still support the AMS, the "Lukinswood locals" offer Taru support and shelter within the suburb of Lukinswood. You've been a great ally to work with in the past and nothing has yet convinced us you are anything otherwise. Sirs Sept. 12, 2007 19:00 (BCT)

2/3 meaning TACS and SIRS :D -kaboose

[edit] September 9th

I'd prefer not to disclose which buildings we're operating from, but the suburb is very active from my perspective... One might be tempted to interpret this stalemate as a lack of activity. But, in actuality, the same buildings are being cleared, repaired, caded, torn open, and ruined every fews days or so. The latest update has not scared off the steadfast survivors of fair Lukinswood, it's just made things *really* tedious and boring. --BartlesonJames 20:55, 9 September 2007 (BST)

Agreed Sirs

[edit] September 8th

Did a scan of the suburb today in an attempt to neutralize the contest map-color-changes of the suburbs in the area. Many of the changes were very correct - this suburb, though, is what I truly believe to be a Ghost Town. There are simply not enough zombies or survivors in the suburb to call it anything else. If either side were to get re-enforcements at this point, though, it could certainly change again. --Donathin 15:59, 8 September 2007 (BST)

Well I guess you didn't check the NW very well, our men are working vigilantly to keep it up. I'm not sure if Ghosttown is the correct designation. -kaboose117

[edit] September 6th

If there are any active members from Extiction or "The zombie squirrels" in Lukinswood, please speak up because otherwise your groups will be taken from the list.

--Sirs Sep 6, 2007 23:17 (BCT)

I see minimal zombie activity, I changed the status to Orange, although lukinswood could possibly be Ghost TOwn as well, seeing minimal activity. However, there are still survivors, and zombies are occasionally on the prowl, so it goes as orange, following the trend of other nearby suburbs. -kaboose

[edit] September 5th

No other survivor groups seem to be active in fair Lukinswood. One can't help but wonder if these "other survivors" were ever anything more than rumors...-BartlesonJames 21:23, 5 September 2007 (BST)

We're working on it James. Construction is hesitant, as LUE promises to take a U-turn back to Havencroft is Ackland is rebuilt. THANKS ToOL Sirs

[edit] September 4th

TACS and SIRS are still very active in the suburb, fighting hard to keep the zombies from completely overrunning them. --Sonny Corleone RRF DORIS CRF pr0n 17:41, 4 September 2007 (BST)

[edit] August

[edit] August 28th

It's about time for an update. Malton's NW corner is completely red at this time in addition to many other eastern suburbs. Lukinswood is no exception. It is entirely in zombie hands now, but that doesn't mean the fight is over. Those who can should focus on reviving fellow survivors at Lacey Walk and Rayner Crescent (remember to SCAN them first!) Those of you waiting for revives, it may take a while because for the few living left, we have to find needles from an alternative NT. Finally for those of you alive who are level 1-3...I'd get the hell out of Dodge. August 28, 2007 12:22 (BTC) Sirs

[edit] August 22nd

Looks like we got a serious situation developing in our fair suburb. "The Emerald" city may be on hold for a bit, until we can find salvation for our little corner of the world. I know the old timers in the area will try to hold our resource buildings until the very end (we have done it before.) We will not go down with out a fight and this burb will be "Emerald" worthy again. All we need to do is stand up and fight! -Axe- —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Eat My Axe (talkcontribs) at an unknown time.

[edit] August 21st

Well, Jensen has 3 survivors and 17 zeds, that's a sure sign that there is more than one faction involved... Advisory warning: stay out of north end of lukinswood. That is all. --Kaboose117

Most of the north has been overrun, zombies line the streets and buildings, and any fool noobs or veterans that have hung around are no doubt dead. It also appears we will now be having some long term zeds hanging with us.. It appears the Extinction group will now be calling Lukinswood its home as well. I wish i could say welcome to the group and we await the next chance we get to come up against you, but unfortunately I cannot due to some, unliked rumors i have heard about Extinction in the past... Colonel Thomas Rodgers —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Thomas Rodgers (talkcontribs) at an unknown time.
I'm assuming the rumors are about zerging. While I can't speak for anyone else, (and to be fair I've only joined in the last week or so) I can tell you how I operate - I have one main who is currently involved in the attack on Molebank, plus two alts who I only use to scout around, far apart, in order to update the NT status map. Honestly, from what I've seen, the ferals are the ones who've been holding on to all those red suburbs, in fact Peddlesden Village and Dunell Hills fell to ferals with no help from us whatsoever. The Brain Location Report, our extensive list of targets, has been advertised enough that I expect most ferals in the NW have it bookmarked, so they know exactly where to go to find brains. For me, this is just something new which is changing the game, and which will force survivors to adapt (shock!). I think it'll be fun for everyone. All the survivors need is a massive boost in organisation and they could EASILY take some suburbs back. In my opinion Extinction won't be able to stretch any further than it has (which has only been with the help of LUE, RRF, EF and ferals working off the BLR), and once the survivors start to retaliate it'll be an awesome, epic fight. Just my two pence. --Tom Thumb 01:35, 23 August 2007 (BST)
Extinction are an organized Zombie army currently 150+ strong, they specialize in sacking NT's in order to starve survivors of revives and thus fresh troops for the defense of your other TRP's. Currently they're working alongside the RRF and elements of the Feral Undead following the scent of fresh brains ever southwards since the strike horde LUE's total annihilation of Caiger Mall. Whether they eventually leave fair Lukinswood will depend on the survivor defense. --Zeug 20:16, 22 August 2007 (BST)
I stood and fought, and died. Ah well i took down ~9 zeds then a level 40 got me :( -Oldgregg

[edit] August 20th

Dear Lukinswood non-zombies, I wish you luck in your defense against the invaders! It's true, I also wish you all to know the true freedom of the gift of zombie-hood, but I find these hoards to be tacky. Whenever you receive the gift, it should be heartfelt, from one Lukinswood resident to another. If you just happen to be swept over, the gift is cheapened. As such, I ask any zombies who have seen the talk of evacuating to McMullen, to leave McMullen alone until the Horde has passed. To those in McMullen, I salute you (as much as my limbs allow), and I look forward to persuading you to accept my gift once the Horde has passed. To those not in McMullen, my restraint does not apply to you, and I will continue my campaign to bring the zombie gift to all of you. Long Live and Unlive Lukinswood! --Zeb Jeb

Well Zeb, we the survivors of Lukinswood and long time residents thank you for your words, and we also await the next chance we get to come up against you and your followers once this passing horde moves on.... Colonel Thomas Rodgers

[edit] August 19th

Notice to any Lukinswood resident:

Havercroft will be over run by zombies from the mega-hoard LUE within hours. Ackland Mall is their target and it won't take them long to break-in because the Ackland Mall Security have already evacuated. We are talking about the New Shacknews here, a hoard of well over 400. Lukinswood alone has no chance. I implore anyone, especially the LEM stashed out in Jensen right now to immediately leave Lukinswood. Evacuate to the Brennand Building in Shore Hills where we can make a stand against LUE with Havercroft survivors together in one building. If not, at least seek higher ground, to roam alone near this hoard is suicide. EVACUATE LUKINSWOOD -22:58, August 19 2007 --Sirs

TACS will be retreating to McMullen Museum, take your pick... we will evacuate ASAP. -Kaboose117
After scouting the general area around McMullen, there's a few random survivors, but no actual zombies, in case you guys are wondering. --criminalzerg
Your gonna eat those words buddy. --Sirs
That's exactly why we're going to McMullen... safest area in Lukinswood for now, it seems the NE is being hit the hardest, it is closest to Ackland so it's expected. Reports of hordes around 10-15 zeds, in the NW i've seen a horde of 10 right next to our building... --kaboose117
Don't wanna worry anyone here but I saw a lot of zombie coming up from the South/South-East possibly ~150 in total. Basically go North if you're gonna leave. --Oldgregg
Well... I've seen 3 survivors die, I've been attacked myself, and the cades are going down too quickly. I suggest those who still have the AP to do so, to evacuate ASAP. I'll stay and fight... who knows for how long though. And whoever attacked me, you may have taken 12hp, but I took you down to 12hp. Owned. --Kaboose117

[edit] August 18th

Jensen been barricaded to EHB recently and will remain so for at least another 2 days, Survivors without free-running should just wait it put and not attempt to smash their way out.Currently being held by the T.A.C.S. LEM and unaffiliated survivors. -Oldgregg

AHEM. Mind I mention that Jensen was originally deemed safe mainly through effort of TACS? We are now known as "unaffiliated survivors?" It is being held by the LEM, TACS, and other unaffiliated personnel. --Kaboose117
Sorry its just when the 10 or so zeds broke in earlier there was no TAC response.
Wait a minute, now I am being called into this. We are glad to see you have decided to make residence here in Lukinswood, however, please remember your place and keep respect for the groups who have called this place home for awhile and have worked to secure it ourselves. You cannot say we have had no responce when the PD has been broken into because for one I have a minimum of 7 TACS members holding around that area, and two we have been dealing with it for quite some time, even before the LEM had been established. So again, we at TACS Welcome the LEM with open arms, but please remember to keep that respect for us as well as the other survivors groups.... --Colonel Thomas Rodgers
Sorry. Its just I almost died and I was slightly annoyed. I said some stuff I shouldn't have and I apologise.
Not a problem, like I said, glad to have anyone with the LEM or any other friendly group for that matter here in Lukinswood. Like I said, I do have members hanging around up there, unfortunately I think a lot of us are on the same timeline or close to it so we all get on around a pretty close time. Trust me though, once the members in that area do log on, they will be right there fighting beside you to continue holding Jensen.. Also if you or any of your members go down, please move to Lacey Walk asap, we control that and the revives are taken care of quickly.... Another thing, I am going to place a section for the LEM on the TACS Forums, if you ever need anything, or just have something you would like to bring up, please feel free to stop by. A link to our forums can be found on our wiki page.. --Colonel Thomas Rodgers
Okay the LEM are very welcome for any help. I think part of my perceived lack of response may have been that it was about 10 am GMT which would be very early in America for example.

Jensen Boulevard Police Department has been breached by Zombies - 5 Zombies inside with 58 Survivors. The whole area is buzzing with zed activity. --Jay Barco 13:53, 17 August 2007 (BST)

I can't help but wonder how they knew to raid Jensen... Any fallen survivors can utilize the Order's Revive Request Tool. -BartlesonJames 17:29, 17 August 2007 (BST)
St. Liz is having a lot of trouble with anywhere from 10-15 very high level zeds. Keep it at VSB! Why?? Because it's a friggn' hospital and we are not here exclusively for survivors with free running. --Sirs 18:34, 17 Aug 2007 (UTC)

Lukinswood Emergency Militia founded by Mike Skill! The LEM is an organization seeking to rally and train the more inexperienced survivors of our home region! Contact Mike in game at the temporary LEM HQ, the Jensen Boulevard Police Department, to join!

[edit] Auguest 10th

Well, not too much activity in some parts of the burb, NW corner seems fine, cade levels don't fluctuate, some people even sleep outside. Thank you for the clarification Bartleson. --kaboose117

[edit] August 6th

Your vigilance is appreciated, Kaboose! The wiki logs indicate this post was by none other than our very own Axe. Proof of this PKers actions can be found [here]. Barricades around Lukinswood have been in a state of flux. While searching local buildings, survivors have found a weathered but unopened crate of '45 records by a Mr. Dave Edmunds. His "I hear you knocking" song can be heard from most powered buildings. --BartlesonJames 07:33, 6 August 2007 (BST)

[edit] August 2nd

I have noticed a bunch of PKs by Payton Manning http://www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=270562. Please be advised this is a dangerous character in our neighborhood. I have collected one bounty on him. Please don't revive.

Please give your name, and please post where exactly the bounty comes from. Otherwise, you could be a liar. --kaboose117

Well, Kaboose, the bounty I collected was because he PK'd me. I have the SS if you would like proof. Also, I have witnessed him kill others for no reason. Hence the warning I gave to our neighborhood about him. -Axe-

[edit] July 26th

Business as usual... Survivors are keeping pretty much to themselves, and Zombies are poking inside the occasional building for a bit of sightseeing.-BartlesonJames 20:22, 26 July 2007 (BST)

[edit] July 19th

Jensen blvd PD was wide open, when I got there it had 6 zombies outside, 2 inside and 5 humans, I saw 4 people dragged into the street before I decided it was best to flee. The whole burb seems to be crawling with walking dead. --Sleepingwolf 19:00, 19 July 2007 (BST)

[edit] July 17th

Kaboose is right, the danger level has been updated to "Moderate." LectreSpectre, I can't seem to find any display issues with the resource box. If you could specifically identify the problem, I'll try to investigate further...-BartlesonJames 20:14, 17 July 2007 (BST)

[edit] July 16th

Something isn't displaying right in the resource building section of this wiki page, could somebody who knows the wiki code fix it? This may not be the appropriate forum, I apologize. --Lectrespectre 00:24, 17 July 2007 (BST)

[edit] July 15th

Right, so someone asking where the RPs are is ok on the updates, but my response to this newcomer in need of information is not? Great work Surgeon General! If I can think of any better way to showcase your obviously anti-survivor bias, I'll be sure to let you know... BTW: Take a look through the news archives, the Lukinswood wiki has been home to both updates and color commentary since its inception. I think your window of opportunity on trying to curb this behavior has long since sailed.BartlesonJames 15:03, 15 July 2007 (BST)

Right On! Axe

Now, why exactly is the danger level green? I've seen plenty of break-ins, it should be a nice shade of yellow please. -kaboose117

[edit] July 14th

It has been a while since I last stopped in at the wiki. I look around and I see a lot of new faces these days. I for one support the current ODD in this neighborhood, and I don't think people, who have not bled on the streets with us to make this burb what it is, should be able to come in here and start barking orders on how this burb should be run. We are open to suggestions, but please don't think you can move into this area and disregard all the hard work we have put in here. I may suggest to Clan Nosferatu that they may be more comfortable in Shore Hills, Barville, or Richmond Hills until they learn the proper etiquette of working with their neighbors not against them. -Axe

The previous Revive Point was moved to Rayner Crescent, and another was established at Lacey Walk. --BartlesonJames 17:23, 14 July 2007 (BST)

Once again, the above was moved from the main page to this talk as it was not an update to the status of the suburb. --TSG reads Daily Ruminations - You should too! 20:27, 14 July 2007 (BST)

[edit] July 11th

Can't find where the revive point has been shifted. --LaDoc 19:35, 11 July 2007 (BST)

Thanks, Jeb... it's great to know where you stand on this one. At least we've staved off the "Least Interesting Zeds" award for another month. --BartlesonJames 16:05, 11 July 2007 (BST)
Note to survivors: Don't be stupid and kill zombies waiting for revives. Especially with dozens outside in a 2 block radius. -kaboose

[edit] July 10th

I know it has been a while since last I posted, but I personally would like to welcome Clan Nosferatu to the neighborhood. But, I am sad to inform you that the entire neighborhood will be against you, so you should assume every human is your enemy, and attack them on sight (as stated in your mission statement). Also, long time residents, you should attack Clan Nosferatu on sight. However, they may not include their group name in their profile, so I highly recommend you attack any humans you see. I say this of course as a completely unbiased observor. On a seperate note, since my last post, I have assisted in the liberation of about 10-20 more buildings. The neighborhood is starting to change for the better. Now, I am getting a bit peckish. I think I'll head on over to a church (I hear there's good eating there). --Zeb Jeb

I'm rising the status to Moderate. Survivors, don't sleep in the street. --LukazDrakon 03:49, 9 July 2007 (BST)
With all due respect to this fledgling group, we've fought long and hard to get this suburb to it's current level of boredom and safety, and we will not stand aside while our work is undone. We have shifted Revival Points and created/modified the Optimal Defense Diagram (see below) to allow the maximum safety and accessibility for all survivors in all buildings. I believe I can speak for the other long-time Lukinswood residents when I say that your enthusiasm for role-playing and pro-survivor goals are greatly appreciated... However, we ask that you refrain from wandering into our home and making major changes, or feeling justified in doing so. We welcome you all to join in the efforts to make Lukinswood both your new home and "The Emerald City," but actions working against the systems in place will not be tolerated.BartlesonJames 13:17, 9 July 2007 (BST)
I agree with Bart, any help you can lend is greatly appreciated, however none of use longtime residents will stand for some group just marching their way in and trying to undo all we have worked to secure. Please, if you have any suggestions towards changes within the suburb, please inform us either by forum or elsewhere so we can discuss and possibly come to some type of arrangement, other then that, we respectfully ask you cease any changes you have began or plan to begin and ask for only your help in defeating our common enemy at this time, thank you.... --Colonel Thomas Rodgers

[edit] July 8th

The entry point issues are being addressed, the variance from the Optimal Defence Diagram is being rectified, we appreciate your patience during this recovery period. An unknown number of representatives from "Clan Nosferatu" have recently become active in Lukinswood, their intentions have not yet been made wholly clear... -BartlesonJames 10:15, 8 July 2007 (BST)

[edit] July 4th

Tried to find a club last night to get a paper hat to celebrate 2nd anniversary. I thought it might lift my spirits a little. Club after club was closed, and in the Southeast corner few buildings are open. Having no luck getting in a club, I holed up in Huttenbach Arms briefly. Went out scouting earlier. Zeds are gathering. I'm laying low and trying to move east as soon as possible. Would love to find an open cinema with a real movie. Or I could hang out and try to help later around here.

I'm passing through, trying to revive some people where needed, but it is very hard to get into the only NT building around here. I noticed a lot of people outside trying to get in somewhere too. A few buildings need to come down to VSB, or there is only going to be more people to revive. --Keith Mars 09:15, 4 July (EST/+10GMT)

A small number of zeds is attacking the northeast corner, especially the St. Elisabeth's Hospital. Today, they break in the Withyman Street Police Department and destroy the generator. --LukazDrakon 04:20, 2 July 2007 (BST)

The lack of active zombies has left several Lukinswood residents with no means to get into barricaded buildings, except for the entry points as marked on the ODD. Which is listed with a tinyurl below... BartlesonJames 13:35, 12 June 2007 (BST)

[edit] May 31st

As a wise man once said, actions speak louder than words. With that, I would like to celebrate the liberation of The Probert Building from the unnatural disease of the breathing. It was a very long and valiant struggle, and I would like to welcome the many new comers to the Zombie Brotherhood. Oh, and to Axe, I hope you received, in good spirits, the vaccination I injected into you with my teeth. It's not as elegant as a needle, but you were right, we needed to stop meeting like that. Zeb Jeb

[edit] May 25th

Too true, fellow nizzle! All hail discordizzle! With the accomplishments of our fair town's residents, perhaps we should consider re-naming our little 'burb. "The Emerald City," anyone? Young girls, drag queens, and little people would seem to fit right in to make up for the recent lack of zombies present... --BartlesonJames 19:45, 25 May 2007 (BST)

[edit] May 23rd

It has been a long time since we could call this burb safe. With the effort put forth by the residents here I think we can call this burb green for now. As long as we wear our tinfoil hats nothing can get to us!!! Hail Eris!!!..Axe..

[edit] May 20th

Just been revived and found it insanely difficult to find shelter, especially since I had an infection as well, my group have mentioned this before on our forums. So I politely ask that A) an effort is made to drop the cade level on some buildings and B) to not overcade all the buildings.----Kylethoreau 15:33, 20 May 2007 (BST)ethan myers

No kidding. I'm in one the buildings in the area and all the buildings are caded to the point that I cannot even get out because I can't find a VSB building!!
I'm not sure about the west side of Lukinswood, but the east has entry points at St. Swithun's Church, Dales Boulevard Fire Station and the warehouse one block north of the hospital (also provides abulence services for those without free running.) Sirs
I've noticed it too, VSB buildings are hard to come by... I'll start tearing the cades down... --kaboose117

[edit] May 15th

I like to barricade. With my 'cades, axe, and tinfoil, I'm safe from the zombies, PKers, and the CIA. Also, I think commas are, like, really, really, really useful. You'll never catch me dead!!!!! --BartlesonJames 23:13, 15 May 2007 (BST)

Color is fun and so are axes. My favorite colors are red on greenish gray if you know what I mean. Stagg is up, genny got smashed, but that's no biggie. As far as Club Hill, it is on the main route to the mall which is Lunkinwoods main source of supplies. Although a single pidly kill there hardly means it's unsafe territory. Maybe once you up your skills a little you can really make a difference. - Daneel

Well Zeb, Thanks for the appreciation, I try to follow through on my promises. I am glad you don't hold grudges because I am sure our paths will cross again. Now on to business...I have been working diligently at trying to keep the RPs open in the area. I would like to thank everyone for their patience while we got the rev patrol up and running again. I only have one more favor to ask, try not to die any more. Carry on. ..Axe..

[edit] May 9th

Wow, what a crazy couple of days. It started off with the horror of being infected by Eat My Axe, and feeling the oddest sensation of something beating inside of my chest. Luckily, in my confusion, I stumbled out of a window and felt better. After that excitement, I decided to party down, so I made my way into Club Hill, and then innaugrated a new member into the glorious zombie brotherhood. So, with Club Hill liberated, I'm off to find new possible initiates. Eat My Axe, I will keep an eye out for you, you have an open invite. I am not one to hold a grudge. Zeb Jeb

Thanks for that update to your life. But in fact, survivors and zombies, this page for updates so all can know the situation in Lukinswood. Lukinswood. Recent static on the radio would have me believe that Stagg is again secure, but you know how that goes, better get you needles befor they're scattered into the streets again. Most buildings are caded. The northeast continues to be the rope in a game of tug-a-war with the zeds. Revives lines are fairly small, but if your not an experienced survivor who happened to be killed while passing through here don't expect a fast revive.
Folkes, this is progress. Sirs
I apologize Sirs, I was merely attempting to add a bit of color to my saying that Club Hill has been liberated. In addition, I wanted to compliment Eat My Axe for making good on his promise of showing me his axe sometime (which he did with gusto). Outside of the initial post I made to introduce myself, I have been careful to only post when a building has been succesfully brought down, and all the people inside have been turned. And that certainly should count as Lukinswood news. As for the color, it was the color in the rest of the news posts which attracted me to this Suburb in the first place, so I will continue to use color. Oh, and I am not trying to start an arguement, I merely wished to make my stance understood. I respect your opinion, and will continue to only post when I have news (aside from this post). Zeb Jeb

[edit] May 8th

Alright, it seems Stagg is down once more. Any survivors looking to venture to our NT please choose anoher direction, it is currently unsafe to go there. -Colonel Thomas Rodgers

[edit] May 6th

Progress is looking more and more in favor of the living. Thanks to the aid from members of the Umbrella Corporation, the Stagg NT now is powered and is holding a caded level of EHB. All zeds outside the building and within surrounding area are being delt with. We ask that all human revivers move to the Stagg Building and load up on needles, possibly stay and help hold the building..... ---Thomas Rodgers---

Nice one, Thomas... your news are as impartial as the Fox News on War in Iraq. Piirasen Jaska
Thanks for putting my name in there Jaska, I forgot to do that... You see, even amongst slanderous remarks towards each other, we can find ways to help one and another out... -Colonel Thomas Rodgers

We are still looking for the WMDs in the greater Lukinswood area. Any zombies looking for political re-education please stop by any of our fine RPs, and we will be more than happy to help you out. ..Axe..

[edit] May 4th

Same Stagg Building, same unpowered, ransacked NT with doors open Zeds inside and dead bodies outside. If only someone could help me retake this building more quickly, I could gen @ trans it up and go back to looking at Swedish porn on the Necronet. Ahh swedes, good for porn, movies and avoiding international law.

I would like to welcome the newcomer to our happy little suburb. I look forward to sharing my axe with you. And Jaska I can't wait to to have another run-in with you either, it has been far too long. Eat My Axe

[edit] May 3rd

Welcome to Lukinswood my brother Zeb Jeb. I shall wait eagerly for our adventures. Long live free Lukinswood! Long live free Whityman PD and St. Lizzie! Piirasen Jaska

Ah, delicious. Your Withyman Street Police Department put up quite a fight. It was as fun as it was tasty. If I had the muscle control, I would salute your fallen brothers. I also wish to welcome my newly risen brothers. Welcome! Zeb Jeb

And a hearty welcome right back to you, Zeb. I know I'm not alone in saying that I look forward to another Lukinswood resident who doesn't resort to zerging/PKing/spying/general-douchebaggery to enjoy their time in Malton. I also eagerly anticipate spreading chunks of you throughout the streets of our fair town. Luckily, you guys can stand right back up and allow other survivors the pleasure as well.BartlesonJames 08:25, 3 May 2007 (BST)

Not much of a zombie to look at I hope you will be able to put up a good fight and we are in the right direction its you that seems to have your eyelides closed. We here in lukinswood will never be handed to zombies for we are the protecters.

As Lukinswood grows safe for all it seems that more survivors are coming and helping out around here.thanks to all who protect lukinswood...Have a great zombie smiting day survivors...

Here in the NE it isn't May first yet...

Anyway, zed presence is low, overcading of course is now high. Please try to bring cades at lvls in the cade plans, and all recourse buildings except NTs are at VSB. --Kaboose117 out

Having tired of my time in Havercroft, this young zombie has read of the glorius exploits of the Zombie Liberation Fighter Jaska, and is now shambling on over to join the fight. Perhaps I can help in getting Lukinswood going in the right direction. See you soon Lukinswood, I'll let out a moan when I reach you! Zeb Jeb

[edit] April 28th

Though we are still on a long road to a full recovery, the Lukinswood suburb is slowly making progress in the right direction. Our revive points are maintaining low numbers and many buildings are beggining to retain their safe barricade levels. As this progress continues, more updates will be added... Colonel Rodgers, 04/28/07 - 08:47 hours

My young friend, you have a distorted picture of "the right direction". Piirasen Jaska
Yes, I was waiting for some inspiring words from the infamous Jaska, and it seems i have been left disappointed with so few words. But as i stated earlier, we are in the right direction and the suburb is coming along very nicely, slowly, but deffinetly coming along.. Colonel Rodgers, 04/29/07 18:02 hours

[edit] April 21st

Lukinswood is unstable throughout all four corners. Ackland Mall is also down. If you would like to help, it's recommended that you revive. Most buildings are open and zombie numbers are evenly spreadout around the suburb in groups of 2-3. You know, the usual. --Sirs 17:54 April 21, 2007 UTC

Word of the Lukinswood success story has spread quickly amongst the youth of Malton. Idealistic, young insurgents have apparently set up outdoor posts every few blocks. The long-time Lukinswood locals have offered their best wishes, but reportedly do not expect the youths to last through the night. --
