- With only a few looting days until Christmas, the weather turns colder. Those wandering the streets of Malton will leave footprint trails and/or bloodstains in the snow as they go about their business.
- Dwindling mall backrooms still seem to have enough decorations for safehouses, for a few days.

In death, the city stirs. Its borders still locked down after a sudden government quarantine five years ago, Malton's trapped civilians make their way through the derelict buildings, surviving the changing seasons to rebuild their fragmented society from the rubble upwards. Military clean-up squads patrol the empty streets, stationed in the city for the long haul, while embedded scientific groups continue the experiments that brought them here.
And the dead rise up and thrive, trailing through the ruined streets of the city, milling between buildings and clawing through makeshift barricades and diversions, reclaiming the city as their own.
Urban Dead is a browser-based zombie apocalypse MMORPG.

| Gameplay of Urban Dead. Almost all actions taken by characters in Urban Dead use Action Points (AP). Movement, attacking, searching, repairing barricades, etc. all require the expenditure of Action Points. Characters receive one new AP every half-hour, up to a maximum of 50 points. When a character's AP total falls to zero or less, that character is unable to do anything until at least one AP is restored. (more...)
