Intelligence Question (Inkface)

Just as a quick note/question that can be deleted in short order - Where do we meet up in situations like right now, when the hospital gets smashed without warning? Thanks for the info in advance - and feel free to answer in the main entry itself. I look there often enough... EDIT: Although the initial question is somewhat less important, we need to come up with a way to plan for this kind of stuff in the future - we can't just hope LUE will pass us by every time. --Inkfingers 12:18, 27 July 2007 (BST)

Perhaps - although when you think about it, the solution is not easy. Do we stick to a certain revive queue only to find there are 30 other zombies waiting there and the local NT has been ransacked? Do we always regroup at a certain location, only to find it also has 30 zombies inside and is ransacked? Do we get out of the way? If so, then where to at such short notice and how can one know the new location isn't just another target? The horde do not make plans and by their nature are too unpredictable for any such plans of ours to work effectively. Perhaps a scout network that travels in the surrounding suburbs, from NT to NT and Hospital to Hospital always having the latest status information so that when disaster does strike the main base, there is a good known location to go to. Sound a bit over the top? Not enough Staff..? I am open to ideas. The Head Administrator, GreenWing.--Sunil 12:39, 27 July 2007 (BST)
I see no problem with such plans, but who would do the scouting should be established beforehand. I'm not against flexibility - just wish I had some way of figuring out where that flexibility was taking us. If that is our plan - and it is a good one, in my opinion, given the nature of our zed friends - we should establish who we're waiting for word from, and what kind of word they will give, where it will be, etc. This is one thing I think organizing an out of game method might be the better way of doing things, as during a zed attack, we're unlikely to have cell phones, Radio, or any other method of long distance communication. Who exactly does the scouting is up to debate, but we should decide on such things in the future.--Inkfingers 19:41, 27 July 2007 (BST)
One logical source of information on neighboring suburbs is the Zone Defenders... but it seems like the entire Survivor Security Zone may be a target right now. It would be nice to make contact (and communications arrangements) with groups in other suburbs, but that's a project that many people will probably want to put off until we get things straightened out in our own front yard. To a certain extent, we're facing the kinds of problems there that any freshly-organized group must face -- nobody knows us too well, so we don't have a lot of networking done yet. In the meantime, we're starting with the RCC forums. --Evan Cord 21:39, 27 July 2007 (BST)

Graphics (Toejam)

This is a really pretty group page. Like, one of the best on the wiki. Nice job Sunil. --  T   21:25, 1 August 2007 (BST)

Undead Fans

It's been a sad time with the MMS out of Roftwood, I miss eating/splattering/having martinis with your brains. Hell, I've had nothing but rotting flesh to munch on lately in there. -Tmeats.--Runtothetrenches 05:26, 2 August 2007 (BST)

Unfortunately we have been having a rather difficult time being harassed by various zombies and zombie groups around central Malton that vastly outnumber us. While you're waiting around St. Ethelbert's Hospital for our return, I'd appreciate a status report on the building just so I know how much ammo we're all gonna need to pack to get our HQ back. Head Administrator --Sunil 12:17, 2 August 2007 (BST)
As of this post, I'm the only zombie in there. None outside. Like I said, I've been munching. One body on the ground, eight outside. G'luck lads. --Runtothetrenches 19:21, 2 August 2007 (BST)

Welcome to Roftwood

Welcome to Roftwood. It is always a pleasure, no wrong word... It is always an honor to welcome another support group to Roftwood. We traditionally run a revive point at Turpin Crescent, although with your group's home at Saint Eth. you do have the pick of two 'burbs for revives.
Sir Fred of Etruria 06:06, 16 August 2007 (BST)

RED ALERT!

Ms. Morg, we need a new regrouping point. I fear we may even be forced to abandon Roftwood altogether. Herbert and most of the buildings have fallen- We need a new, temporary home! I have heard rumors of another St. Ethelbert's Hospital... I will check if it is near enough to be a possibility. Edited- We cannot go to the other E's hospital. Tis dead. Damn, we need an evac!--Jallus 20:26, 5 September 2007 (BST)

Aiden Brandermilt checking in: I ran south, got eaten. Doesn't look too pretty south of roftwood either. Dead at the moment. Will stand by for any orders. I might suggest one of the forts? We could get there, and set up shop in the infirmary, then spread out to nearby hospitals in that 'burb?

Jallus again- I'm at fort Creedy- Wow! There's lots of safe buildings. However, I'm dead. I'd suggest the forts as a regroup point. And when did I say we were disbanding, Morg?--Jallus 20:27, 7 September 2007 (BST)

Phantom Non-MMS- I'm currently heading west to the SSZ and when looking for a hospital to crash at noticed your situation, im in Peppardville at the moment and S.t Beneicts is currently barricaed but vacant if you need a tempory base--Phantom PF 12:00, 8 September 2007 (BST)

Alliance of Fort Creedy

Hello, I would like to invite the MMS to the Alliance of Fort Creedy. Your group checks out as an excellent contributor to Urban Dead. However, we'd like to see a set of written codes on your wiki expressing your feelings on the horribly unfair tactics of bots, hacks, and zergs.

The Alliance of Fort Creedy aims to be a confederacy of integrity.

Thank you for your time. --Secruss 01:53, 11 September 2007 (BST)

Duel

Jallus here, again. I seem to be quite talkative normally, but the recent affairs of Jacob Starr's attacks on the hospital have driven me to accept his challenge, delivered around 12 hours ago, stating that "you must meet me at the Truell Museum at 9 PM EST. Come alone, I don't want an army waiting for me." I am going, and I will not be dissuaded, even though I have no idea why he challenged me specifically. Wish me luck, --Jallus 20:06, 27 September 2007 (BST)

Good luck, Jallus. Doc Ransom has a needle if you need a revive. --Wugmanmax 20:25, 27 September 2007 (BST)
Good luck, Jallus! Don't forget to whip out those white gloves and slap his face a few times. --Morgueasm 23:22, 27 September 2007 (BST)
It would have been a dramatic fight to the death... If he'd been logged on. Set a new time, Jacob- I didn't kill you for a reason! --Jallus 02:26, 28 September 2007 (BST)

We're better than you

That is all.--  AHLGTG THE END IS NIGH! 04:25, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

That was very... informative. Why, may I ask, are you better then us? You may have Cheez puffs- We have a still, a dog, a robotic crocidile, a dog, a 6-month old baby, an ice cream parrot, several zombie friends, a snake bar, kidneys, personalities, and, most of all, Ms. Morg! (Oh, sure, there are other awesome people here. But Ms. Morg will hurt me if I don't mention her.)--Jallus 15:33, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
Yes, Jallus speaks the truth! We also have a distillery and ninjas. And to answer your statement that you're better than us, I only have this to say, "Nah-uh!". --Morgueasm 15:55, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

Hmm, lets see... we have the poofs, which are better than both of us combined. We happen to own and manage two Cheesy Poof factories. We have a few pirates, genetically engineered pandas, we have hot baths, either with soap and water or Cheesy Poofs. We aren't too far from the Beer Building and we're also 8 jumps and climps from the HATZ store. There is only one HATZ store if I may remind you. Sir and madam, we're definitely better than you. And to answer your "Nah-uh" I shall say, "Uh-huh!!" (notice that there are 2 exclamation marks).--  AHLGTG THE END IS NIGH! 16:04, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

Cheesy Poofs are icky..but I'll award you some gold stars for usage of a word you just made up (climp?) and another gold star for making it plural. We have baths and I do sponge baths, so I rock that FTW. Also, our wiki is prettier and you're a big doody head. "NAH-UH!!!!", to you and I say,"GOOD DAY!". --Morgueasm 19:25, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
Woops, that was a spelling error, oh well! How about you send your Malton Wedical Staff over to our Tikhon Awesomer General Hospital of Greatness and have us a duel? Or are you chicken? --  AHLGTG THE END IS NIGH! 19:30, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
Doody head?!?! Well I... I guess he is. But you knocked the Poofs. That makes you doodier headier. I think. Don't make it worse on yourself by disrespecting our pandas, too.Uncle Elbert, Tikhon Medical 05:16, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
We're not chicken..we're just un-reliable for moving anywhere even with weeks of announcements for it. So, Take that! The MMS Makes Medicine SEXY! And sex is much more awesomer than you guys.--Morgueasm 20:09, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
Definitely chickens! Bwaaack bwack bwack bwack bwaaaaaack!!--  AHLGTG THE END IS NIGH! 20:32, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
What's stopping you from coming over to our pious and heavenly St. Ethelbert's to have a duel? I'm sure we have less zombies than you. Or do you want to entertain fairness and meet at some lesser hospital in the middle?--Morgueasm 20:41, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
Very well. Do you have a hospital in mind?--  AHLGTG THE END IS NIGH! 20:45, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
Kempsterbank is currently Green and has 6 hospitals or something. Any one of those would be fine with me. Is it just going to be me and you or are we supposed to bring some sort of crew? --Morgueasm 20:49, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
Titus General Hospital seems good. Yes, we should bring a crew. As for the date, I will have to discuss that with my group.--  AHLGTG THE END IS NIGH! 20:51, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
Alright. I'll note that and talk it over with my people. We'll boggle your minds with our lack of punctuality! *muahahaha* --Morgueasm 20:59, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
Have you ever looked at our no longer SEKRET plans? We're the king of disorganization and absurdness.--  AHLGTG THE END IS NIGH! 21:01, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
I remember peeking at this at some point because Smarties came in and said some junk about Tikhon being cooler and I decided to ignore him because I thought he was a PKer and that turned out to be true. But I like your rambling arrows and dots. It takes us a whole week to reassemble as a whole in another burb. And we haven't done any runs into Ridleybank since..I don't know..May? Oh, I suppose now would be a good time to ask who I should be looking for at Titus. Who are you going to be?--Morgueasm 21:12, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
Whatever happens, I want screenies.-- dǝǝɥs ɯɐds: sʎɐʍ1ɐ! 19:32, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

And Tikhon has the backing of me! I definitely say they're better.-- dǝǝɥs ɯɐds: sʎɐʍ1ɐ! 16:08, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

RRF

So, a question. Actually, two. 1st off, why do the RRF want to kill us, and why are only 15 of them out there? --Jallus 21:01, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

I think they're part of a horde up in Pimbank...according to their Wiki page they're planning an 'excursion'. --Saralan Talk 404 ZHU 10:23, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

Roftwood Tactical Coordination

Hello, to whomever it may concern. I am Blessed Guard of the Army Control Corps, and I have come to the Wiki to obtain various information from groups listed in the suburb of Roftwood. We value the ability to work with others in the accomplishment of similar goals and ideas, and we hope to continue this in our next area of operation. This being said, is there any way to contact MMS through a more secure medium (whether in or out of game)? Thanks in advance for the information, and I look forward to your response. - Blessed Guard 01:17, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

This isn't required for discreet communication. St Ethelbert's Hospital [66, 50] is currently under Survivor control, so it is ready for the MMS to occupy. The ACC will continue to hold it until we feel it is stable enough to move on from or if dire events may occur (in light of news that Nichols has fallen). - Blessed Guard 23:49, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

To Monroeville?

It has come to my attention that Necrotech's nefarious operations have reached into a small Pensylvanian town. We must assist! I'm in South Monroeville, hoping for anyone to arrive.--Jallus 20:38, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

To be specific, Smoot Boulevard PD. :D --Jallus 20:38, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

St. Ethelbert's

You probably already know this, but this morning I managed to evict the remaining zombie invaders, repair the building and 'cade her to VHB. The area is now getting a lot more secure so it might be possible for you all to come back home now. Well I thought i'd drop you a line seeing as it's your base an' all, so hope to see you all back home soon Bonner - Speak!. 18:06, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

VZW

Saw your post regarding St. Ethelbert's today - rest assured, the VZW welcomes your group to the area and not only encourages you to make use of St. Ethelbert's but would also like to lay our resources at your disposal should you need them. Contact any VZW member, or Luis Tully796309 if you would like to discuss matters 'in-game.' --Shazzelim 20:44, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

Announcements

Mikhayl and Saralan, we are not discussing that event here. Please go to the Current Instructions and join the RCC forum and Identify yourself, discuss it there. The wiki pages cannot be trusted for communication. Thank you. --Morgueasm 12:09, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

Err...I thought I was being sufficiently ambiguous... very well, I consider myself reprimanded =) --Saralan Talk 404 ZHU 13:28, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
You probably were, but I just wanted to give a basic message mostly directed to Mr. Selmas. Hope you enjoyed your spanking, anyway. ;) --Morgueasm 13:48, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
