Links
If you look at wikipedia's recentchanges page, they have a bunch of useful links at the top of the page. I thought it'd be neat if we had something similar, so I made this. --Daranz.t.mod.W(M)^∞. 20:06, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
Can we have an option to only list changes to pages that we've at some point contributed to? I know you can watchlist pages you contribute to, but I must have like a hundred pages I've done an edit on already, and I'd rather keep that function for pages I'm especially interested in. Or maybe instead of changing the recent changes page have two watchlists - the normal one, and one for any page you've ever edited. Numbers in the recent changes
Does anyone know what the numbers mean in teh recent changes? Like " . . m Talk:Mobile Phone Mast; 16:09 . . (+175) . . Mouren (Talk | contribs) (added question.)" the "(+175)." in that line. Does it have to do with time or what? --Mouren 21:29, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

- Yes, they arent really needed to be there, easily accessed on the front page, and there really isnt much call for their use. We only get about a half dozen move requests a month and maybe one protection. --The Grimch U! E! WAT! 04:32, 20 June 2008 (BST)

Que?!
The picture above is what I am concerned about. Before I clicked on the username, it showed a black user name, and it had a red question mark afterwards.
Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? I looked into the Recent Changes help page, but that only shows exclamation marks. And even then, that's where the type of edit is shown. - Firefox. Damn, I didn't sign. Also, checking further down, it shows the same for Foo Llama and Codballs. I think it may be someone who doesn't have a userpage, as these three users do not. (After previewing, the link to those two users shows a red question mark after the name. Link to bot reports
Can we please have a link to UDWiki:Administration/Vandal Banning/Bots added to Recent Changes? With the current influx of bots, it is receiving a lot of traffic and a link would make reporting them much faster/easier. ~

Feeds and User creation log
Are these sections really needed at the top of recentchanges? The feeds are already at the top of the recent changes page (perhaps they're somewhere else on the page for others, depending on the skin you're using). And what use is the usercreation log up there? It already pops up in the recent changes anyway -- boxy 04:05, 24 April 2011 (BST)

- None of the logs are really all that necessary, just helpful to have them there. If you want to be rid of user creation log than we should be rid of all of them. It does appear that feeds appear at the very top of the screen with some skins. They also load in the toolbox for some skins. On the skin I'm using, urbandead2 only Atom is listed in the toolbox and not at all at the very top of the page. I've checked the other skins and it's hit or miss. Start date/time for recent changes
Has anyone ever had luck displaying Recent Changes starting at a specific date/time? Adding &from=yyyymmddtttt to the url should work but it doesn't. ~ 15:35, 15 April 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, but it'll only let you go back so far. For example: you need to set an edit limit that'll cover the time period. -- Cheese 15:47, 15 April 2012 (BST)

Bots still appear?
Not sure if anyone will see this given RC right now, but...
User:MapBot is officially listed as a bot (and was assigned to that category a couple days ago, I think by Ross) but is still showing up in Recent Changes for me, no matter whether "Hide Bots" or "Show Bots" is clicked. Is something up? Bob Moncrief EBD•W! 12:53, 21 August 2013 (BST)
- MapBot is in the user group Bots alright, like all the other bots are (who don't show up in RC, or at least haven't been while they were active). I'll poke a bit around the Mediawiki documentation to see if there is a hint in it. -- Spiderzed█ 13:44, 21 August 2013 (BST)
