The Obern Library, located at coordinates 37,15, is one of two libraries in the suburb of Shuttlebank. It is a narrow concrete building. Books and poetry books can be found inside.

According to the Uniform Barricade Plan and similar plans drawn up by the Shuttlebank Militia, the Obern Library is to be kept at the level of Extremely Heavily Barricaded.

From September 30th to October 6th, 2007, the Obern Library hosted the Quartly Study Group on Tour, during which time (October 3, 2007) the library witnessed the Asshat Egg Massacre. Eight members of the Quartly Study Group were murdered by D J Eggman, EggHead79, Private Gobias, Red Cross Mike and fatstupidloser. All QSG members were revived and in full health almost immediately after the massacre.
