The Pescodside Defense Alliance (PDA) is dedicated to defending Pescodside, its citizens, and helping other suburbs around when needed. The group was originally formed in October-December 2006, as the "Alner Initiative". This initial group was created when its founding leaders Lemonhead7t7 and Jurai first joined forces to form a survivor defense group at Alner Mansion in Roachtown. However, the close proximity of the RRF zombie horde and the threats presented by the Roach Klips, it was obvious they were not welcome there. Lemonhead7t7 and Jurai both managed to escape the mansion and made their way northeast to Pescodside, Lemonhead7t7's home suburb. There they noticed how desperately Pescodside needed its own dedicated survivor group to help protect them. The two men began forming plans for a new group that would eventually become the Pescoside Defense Alliance on October 12th, 2006. Together, they formed the Independent Cell System (ICS) that is so widely used in the PDA today.

Two members then joined the PDA, AOR and Aucturus. They helped solidify the ICS, and shaped it into the structure it is today. AOR left the PDA, and soon after Aucturus followed. Aucturus now resides in the Wyld Towers, where the PDA sends members to help maintain it.

The PDA does not agree with murder, but if the Alliance is threatened they will defend themselves from any would-be attackers. The PDA is not a mall defense group. They have a main headquarters, with specific goals and rules that are followed by all of their members. The PDA's job is to protect and serve the citizens of Pescodside for the greater good of Pescodside, whatever that may require. The Pescodside Defense Alliance strives for the perfection and pride of its system, and should not be wrongly labeled a "mall defense group".

With the creation of the Pescodside Defense Alliance, the conception of the ICS ranking system, and its growing membership, the PDA continues to make a name for itself as a group that is here to stay.

[edit] Group Roles & Responsibilities

The Pescodside Defense Alliance works with an Independent Cell System (ICS). The heads of the ICS' are usually high ranking officers (high-level military personnel), advanced surgeons (high-level NecroTechnicians), or just plain ol' experienced civilians. The ICS works first through conscription. Once you have gained admission into the PDA you will then be either given an Independent Cell (making you an CO [commanding officer]) or you will be recruited into an existing IC. If you become a CO your job will be to:

Responsible for maintaining a building's barricades at a set level provided by the group's leaders.
Responsible for setting up and maintaining a portable generator and radio transmitter.
Responsible for maintaining a radio channel tuned to 29.00 MHz (PDA Radio Frequency).
Responsible for the health and welfare of all survivors in your building.
Responsible for tagging the inside and outside of your building with "Property of PDA (do not graffiti over)".

If you are recruited your responsibilities lie first to the PDA leaders and then to your group's leading officer/surgeon/civilian.

The PDA is an effective and organized coalition. We believe in the revivification of non-hostile zombies (i.e. undead survivors) as a TOP PRIORITY, but if necessary will combat revive. Zombies with Brain Rot are to be exterminated immediately whenever discovered. We do not tolerate murderers within the PDA ranks without reasonable cause. If a member is caught killing, or assisting to kill, an innocent survivor they will be judged. If they are found to be guilty, the member will be exterminated on sight and their PDA membership revoked. The main goal as a PDA member is to ensure the safety of the survivors of Pescodside, and The Farbrother Building. PDA members are then to help out whoever requires assistance at any given moment (as long as it does not contradict standing rules and regulations).

	Sacred Ground Policy Supporter
	This User or Group supports the Sacred Ground Policy & acknowledges that all Cemeteries in the city of Malton are considered Revivification Points.
