Paradox seems to be quite a large group. Although no definite numbers have been made available, reports on the forum have placed them over a very wide area. Several of these reports have been confirmed by suspected Paradox members as being 'expeditions'. The size of these expeditions hint at considerable strength if they are able to maintain control of the several malls, suburbs and even a fort simultaneously.

Paradox challenged the zombie hordes to attack their expedition at Fort Perryn. The number of people inside the fort itself is known to have been in the region of 50 people, although it is known not all were Paradox members, it gives some indication of the group's strength if one expedition can muster so many. The Fort is believed to have been held by Paradox for at least two weeks.

The expedition at Fort Perryn is now believed to have retired judging from the graffiti left behind. The graffiti cites 'boredom' of waiting for a large enough horde to appear as the reason.

Paradox seem to take a strong line against PKing and seem to actively hunt down anyone who attacks one of their members. Although barricade disputes have occurred in areas where they have an expedition active, it seems these have been resolved amicably with the other groups who have been in the area.

Paradox areas seem to be clearly marked by graffiti making it easy to spot an area where at least some of their expeditions are active.

No other information is currently known about Paradox or their aims and recruiting policy.

The Paradox expedition at Woodroffe Mall in Tollyton was forced to retreat from the mall itself in the face of overwhelming zombie numbers during the last week of October 2005 after a siege lasting a week. This was a result of a rogue Paradox member issuing a challenge over the mall to the hordes. Heavy fighting continued in the Tollyton area indicating that the loss of the mall was not a significant blow to the expedition.

As of 2/6/06, Paradox regained control of Tollyton, driving out the zombie hordes and resecuring Woodroffe Mall.

Ridleybank

Remember, remember the 5th of November

You are all urged to storm the infected heart of our fair city of Malton on the 5th of November. We shall not lie down, we shall take back what is ours! Codename V 14:46, 4 April 2006 (BST)

On March 6th, 2006, as part of Operation: Annoy the Zombies, Paradox troops entered Ridleybank and began the long, arduous process of liberating the suburb from the Ridleybank Resistance Front. On March 10th, the majority of Ridleybank was barricaded to either very heavily barricaded or extremely heavily barricaded. At that time there were barely twenty zombies in Ridleybank. At this point, Paradox saw fit to declare the suburb completely liberated from the zombie threat, and for a few days, celebrations rocked the suburb even as the RRF rapidly began to return to Ridleybank.

Over the next four days, Ridleybank saw a dramatic rise in violence as Paradox, CDF, DEM and various other human groups fought to maintain the barricades in Ridleybank.

In response, the Ridleybank Resistance Front brought their "excursion" to Tollyton on March 23rd, with close to the entire RRF entering the suburb. Initial reports describe a minimal Paradox presence despite a high survivor population, a report apparently confirmed by Paradox officials:

Yes, Tolly is under siege again, and most of us busy on other missions, if you want to leave Tolly for a few days, you are smart, come back when they leave, we'll be here. - lustindarkness

Reports have been recieved that suggest high survivor casualties, and the fall of Woodroffe Mall has been confirmed. In turn, the RRF have seen to declare Tollyton as "completly liberated from the survivor menace". Despite RRF ramblings, the survivor resistance continues to fight for Tollyton.

Other areas of Paradox operations are currently unknown.

Imposters

It has recently come to the attention of Paradox high officials that there have been PKers using the Paradox group name to discredit the Paradox name. Paradox has narrowed the imposters down to members of these/this ividual(s)

Paradox244 claims no affiliation with Paradox and is not to be considered an imposter.

To the imposters, Paradox has a list of what characters are actually in the group, so name altering will not help you. You cannot hide. Again, if any of these survivors are seen, they are to be killed on sight, with or without the Paradox name.
