After recent requests solicited no response, the following group links have been removed from the suburb.

Most buildings are ruined, with groups of 1-5 zombies outside. Didn't see any large mobs, but the suburb is dangerous. Garum 11:14, 25 May 2008 (BST)

The cemetery in southwest Paynterton is full of the dead and the surrounding NT buildings have all been ruined.--Ag1286 09:50, 23 May 2008 (BST)

Morton Lane Fire Station broken in by zombies. We need to try and keep this point clear!--Firnagzen 03:30, 18 May 2008 (BST)
[edit] May 13th
Most of the buildings in the south end of Malton are barricaded, powered, and manned, with the cemetery revive point flowing smoothly. A recent rash of overbarricading at entry points indicates possible death cultists or griefers haunting the area. -- Diano 07:18, 14 May 2008 (BST)
[edit] May 1st
Many TRPs have been reclaimed and lit, and there are a number of newly revived survivors with nasty infections. There are also ruined buildings here and there, at least one with a moderate zombie presence occupying it. The zombies don't appear to be particularly organized, or have high overall numbers, so this suburb should continue to improve, if the lit TRPs are maintained. Updated to moderate.--FT MCI 17:53, 1 May 2008 (BST)

Leo General Hospital has fallen and Agathius has a mob of about 15 outside without barricades. Safehouses needed to be set up for those without Freerunning, but would suggest that major resource buildings such as hospitals and necrotech building increase barricades past VSB to prevent zombie break-ins. Necrotech buildings seem to be the best bet for bunkering down in. --Zaiphyr 20:40 21st March 2008 (GMT)
All Southern NT buildings are in ruin and have zombie mob activity of at least 10-15 outside and equal or less inside... The cemetery has around 20 zombies in it as well... --Ag1286 04:22, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

Zombies all over the place, RP's are filling up. I haven't seen any groups of more than 11 or 12 outside of RP's but, that doesn't mean they aren't out there. It looks like the invasion is headed our way so we need to all stock up on ammo, FAK's, and Syringes. At the moment our priorities should be 1. Revive Survivors 2. Gather Supplies 3. Keep up barricades 4. Kill Zeds. United We Stand! --Kleenur 15:36. 20th March 2008 (GMT) <p>United or not you're all going to die --Johnny the Rotten 19.14. 20th March 2008 (GMT)

Imperative to get rookie survivors into VSB safehouses as soon as possible. The Big Bash is one suburb south and spillover is already near the suburbs borders. Start loading up on ammo - and prepare for a large siege in the next two to five days.Sergeant Bobbo 09:32, 20th March 2008 (GMT)

About 90% of buildings along east side have been extremely heavily barricaded, almost no where to hide. this suburb is still safe, but there have been many survivors standing outside with no where to hide --Anialator 06:15, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] March 11th
Low zombie numbers and the MPD's Team West have combined to create a relatively safe suburb. Few if any ruined buildings can be found. This suburb's danger level is at least moderate. --Soloman Frisbee 04:28, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] February 22nd
Suburb danger level downgraded to "Dangerous." Overnighting in resource buildings is still risky in Paynterton, but it's no longer the death sentence it was last week. --Jenkem 02:50, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] February 18th
The South Paynterton Aces are making an effort to hold the Packe, Casely, and Gracewood buildings in their area of operations in the southern part of the suburb. So far, we've been able to keep the buildings from being ruined too often, but break-ins are frequent and we can't keep a genny running. If you find yourself in southern Paynterton, drop by and give us a hand! Bear in mind, this is still a "red" suburb, and we could all use a little help! -- Jenkem 04:46, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] February 8th
Spillover from the Second Big Bash has turned this suburb into a veritable wasteland, all the NTs are ruined, the only notable running resource building is a single lit hospital surrounded by pretty much the only three non-ruined buildings in the whole suburb.--Karekmaps?! 01:31, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] January 24th
Once again, agents of NecroWatch reported from the Packe and Gracewood Buildings revealing that there were 24 zombies within scanning range of the two facilities. Of note, there were 9 zombies assaulting the Packe facility, while 5 other zombies were detected at Crump Cinema in Starlingtown. Other than these zombies the remainder were scattered. --Mobius187 16:53, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] January 20th
Over the past 2-3 days NecroWatch reported from the Robbins, Montacute, Pender, Packe, and Gracewood Buildings. The scans collected from these facilities indicate that an estimated 90-95 zombies within range. Of course it should be noted that not all of these zombies were detected to be within Paynterton, as a goodly sum were actually north in Dunningwood.
[edit] January 5th
The Gracewood and Packe NT buildings in south Paynterton are ruined, as is the nearby Casely Building in north Starlingtown. Many of the surrounding non-resource buildings are also ruined. --Jenkem 23:14, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] January 4th
The Gracewood Building is ruined. Left the Packe Building and headed northeast to find some FAKs in the hospitals there but found one ruined and one with five zombies in it. --Mike Thriller 18:22, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

Quickly we return to our feet. The south is looking much better. Revive point lines are shrinking, and ruined buildings are being cleaned up nicely.
[edit] October 16th
This suburb is mostly ruined. The southern side of the map is almost gone and the northern area is not looking very good. The southern clump of NT buildings has been ruined, but the northern one is currently standing. Revive queues are long. Only the lack of any significant, clustered horde is keeping this area from turning red. --evilbob 21:27, 16 October 2007 (BST)

At least two of the hospitals are overrun and numerous buildings have been broken into and ruined. Not really that dangerous but not safe either. --Srg Shawn 11:00, 14 October 2007 (BST)

I've been traversing the suburb and there are almost no zeds whatsoever. I declare it safe....For now. p.s. I'm a survivor if you wanna know. And I'm local.--Pyro of Payneterton 10:41 am, 2 October 2007 (CST)

It is important to note that the Paynterton Saints are now, for lack of a more ironic phrase, on the side of the angels. For good? Unknown, but at least until Paynterton gets substantially cleaned up.

Almost the entirety of the buildings in the suburb along the eastern border stretching up into southern Dunningwood and down throughout Starlingtown have been ruined. Zombies are everywhere. The case may be the same for the for the western parts of the suburb, but I can't speak to that from my own experience.--Insomniac By Choice 14:33, 27 August 2007 (BST)

Paynterton is under attack! The combined efforts of the Mongolian Horde and the Leo Emergency Medical Response is just barely holding. All reinforcements welcome! See Mongolian Horde Message Board if you need to know where to go.

At this very moment that I write this there's 16 zeds inside Shadwick Walk Police Dept. I did what I could there then headed out to find a radio to broadcast an SOS, but much of the south and west of the suburb are without power. I suggest that the danger level be moved up to moderate, especially since the suburb borders Starlingtown and the NE of Pitneybank, two dangerous suburbs. As I'm not a local I'm not going to change it but if someone has info on the other resource buildings and their status, they should probably do a post and fix the danger level. Seems like alot has changed since the last news update.--Nallan 12:31, 25 June 2007 (BST)

The Malton Inquisition is now hunting down any heretics in Paynterton. This is in retaliation to the murder of Officer Stephenson who was residing at a local police department. The Malton Inquisition has decreed this suburb a haven for heretic's and will therefore begin the Exterminatrix Extremis (in other words, were going to hunt down every last person and zombie in the suburb and kill them) have a nice day.
- Dentonside Regulars' response, do you know what your saying? Do you know how dumb this plan is? There are two orginized groups in Paynterton that have allies, us included, and the three of our groups could easily take yours. If you come in, I gaurntee three to one odds with several groups making moves to shoot to kill against yours. Your group, no matter how much they try, cannot and will not win. I will also remind you that if you come in to these areas PKing, you will not be given revives at many of the revive points in the area.

The Drama Club staged a performance of "Army of Darkness" at Caines Cinema as part of their Border Tour of Malton. The group plans to travel clockwise around the border suburbs of Malton with one show in each suburb. Today they performed for the 5 survivors here as part of this tour. See their group page for performing groups and schedules.
The theatrical display clearly distracted the good citizens of North West Paynterton, as in the adjacent St. Isidore's Hospital had its barricades torn down by a gang of zombies. Those inside came under attack from the first zombies in but were able to re-secure the doors within a couple of hours.
[edit] April 2nd
Most of NW Paynterton is full of zeds, I counted 30 or so...Try avoiding the NW corner
- Yep there's alot of zombies in Paynterton but barricades are up all over the place so don't worry, u'll eventually find a enterable building (the barricade plan is not being implemented so watch the AP consumption!! )

Alright people we got a problem, it looks like the Zeds have been gathering around the police department and it's the only resupply point in the area for people who need ammo since Giddings fell. A lot of the zeds have Cortex damage so revives are next to impossible. I believe it's time to kick some Zombie ass. Tomorrow I call on all of Paynterton and the Mongolian Horde to help me send those bastards straight back to hell. - ----John Raymond 10:20, 30 December 2006
- Giddings has gone haywire which means the South Western part of the burb is a little vulnerable. Keep your eyes peeled if your down that way.
[edit] December 20th
Persistent zombie incursions into N Paynerton are beginning to have effect. St Isidores is under continuous attack (barricades down) as are the nearby NT and resource buildings. --LittleAxe 20:28, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

Operation: Street Cleaners has gone into full effect! All zombies must be cleared out of buildings, all buildings must be barricaded, and a generator should be placed in all clean, fortified buildings. Keep up the good work everybody!

Things are looking up in Paynterton. While there is still a sizeable amount of work to be done until we regain Green Status, both the Horde and the Aces remain optomistic. A big thanks to The Four Winds for stopping by to help out. In other news, the truce with notorious PKer Alopikal is over.
[edit] September
[edit] September 2nd
Things are still bad in Paynterton. The survivors where able to hold some buildings about four days ago but all of those have fallen. We have no access to any PDs or hospitals and there are too few survivors to do anything. However, if we could get the western side back somehow we might be able to hold the zeds. I advise all survivors without free running from going in to the area if we can get a good counter attack going.
[edit] September 1st
We're still in desperate need of help. Zeds are breaking into buildings almost as fast as we can barricade them, we're running low on FAKS, and any revived survivors get killed off quickly before than can recover. More than anything, we just need massive syringes and FAKs to keep us going until the zeds are driven off. Note: Both the Paynterton Aces and the Mongolian Horde have a peace treaty with the PKer Alopikal, who has agreed to help rebuild Paynterton.
[edit] August
[edit] August 25th
The PD has fallen and there are 16 zombies inside. The survivors here cannot resupply and request immedate assistance from any forces that are willing to fight. The barricades in the south have been knocked down and the few survivors left alive are in the north. Send help ASAP.
[edit] August 24th
Alert: The Big Bash is heading this way! I repeat, The Big Bash is heading this way! Those who don't wish to die should evacuate ASAP. There's not enough survivors in Paynterton to stand up to a force that size. I'd say stay and fight if there were. They've taken the southeastern corner as it is. Don't become a casualty if you aren't experienced enough to fight them off. I salute to those who will stay and fight.
[edit] August 14th
Too quiet indeed... The northeast corner is getting sieged because people are too lazy to defend or simply not there to do so. Zombies are getting a free meal. Last I knew, the 'cades over at Agathius General had fallen as well as the Beater Building to some high-level Zeds. Looks like Leo is soon to join them. Unless you can fight them out, I'd suggest fleeing to safer areas and living to fight another day.
[edit] August 12th
Not to speak too soon, but things look in control as far as the suburb is concerned. Sparse zombie patrols wander aimlessly into various walls and objects, many of those objects including, but not limited to live ammunition and swinging fire axes from bloodthirsty survivors. One or two griefers have been spotted around town lately. One in particular "Fred's Friend" trashed the transmitter in Agathius General. I'm not sure about the remainder of the town, (Will be doing a scouting report for the Police station later today.) but things are seemingly pretty quiet. Maybe...too quiet?
[edit] August 10th
Area seems pretty well cleared of hostile zeds. Still a few minor break-ins, but no major survivor casualties. Not yet deserving of a Green rating, but you won't get killed merely strolling through.
[edit] August 2nd
Moved through south-eastern and eastern Paynterton early this morning, spotted a group of around fourteen to fifteen Zeds. I found Leo General Hospital to be over-barricaded and have since moved on. Things seemed at least somewhat quiet, though. I've also noted an utter lack of survivors in the south. To those traveling through, best be alert.
[edit] July
[edit] July 31th
Today was marked by some light skirmishing between the The Mongolian Horde and the Zeds who broke in to the Pender building (which is now secured and barricaded to the max). Other then that the suburb has been quiet. Hopefully with a little luck, this peace will last. The idea for reducing the warning level back down to green has been raised but it will stay at yellow for now until we are sure that the area is secured.
[edit] July 30th
Last time the battle for Giddings Mall heated up it boiled over in to Paynterton and the Shadwick Walk PD was broken in to. Everyone that was inside of the PD was killed so be sure to look out and warn people if groups of zeds are spotted heading out of the Giddings Mall area heading towards the suburb. The fighting in Spracklingbank has also increased and I ask everyone that can to help keep the PD safe in case the zombies decide to cross the boarder and make a move for it.
The recent attacks on the western most hospitals and the southern area is being blamed on the local Brain Maggots zombie group. Survivors in the area are being called upon to help beat the not-so-living crap out of the Brain Maggot zombie members in response to these attack.
I would like to remind you all at this time about not kill the zeds standing at the revive points. It seems like there are three zeds around The Mongolian Horde's revive point (including me) and it would be nice to have these people back in the survivor ranks ASAP.
Someone has upped the warning level for the suburb, I do not know why but I will wait sometime before I lower it again. I don't believe that it should be as high as it is now.
[edit] July 29th
Another Zed moved in to the south and got one of the Mongolian Horde's southern most watchmen so it looks like another wave of Zeds are moving in. Everyone should be on the lookout in the southern part of Paynterton.
[edit] July 28th
The zeds have been repulsed from the western side and the two hospitals are now secure. The zeds have fled or have fallen. The Survivors have been pushing against the zombies in the south and are nearly done removing them from the suburb. We believe that the zeds are moving towards the south-west to reinforce those attacking the mall.
[edit] July 26th
CALL TO ARMS: The Big Bash, a large zombie organization has plans to move in to the suburb after they finish claiming their next victims. Survivors, it's time to clean your shotguns and pull the pistols out from your bedside drawer, the zombie hordes are knocking at the door. Some elements are already here attacking the hospitals and near the southern most church. It's time to protect where we call home. Bring the barricades up to full and began to defend.
[edit] June
[edit] June 28th
The zombies are more frequently destroying barricades, groups of 5 or 6 have been spotted roaming the suburbs. Resource buildings all over Paynterton need to be barricaded. Low level survivor corpses are littering the insides of fire and police departments. New players may want to head west to Spracklingbank, a far more secure location.
[edit] June 15th
Several small zombie hordes prowl the suburb but most of Paynterton is still safe and not overbarricaded. Break-ins are becoming more frequent at resource buildings. Keep a watchful eye and you'll be fine. Thanks to The Mongolian Horde, revives are readily available at St. Pius's Church [95,32].
[edit] June 11th
The South Paynterton Aces are born! GO ACES!
[edit] May
[edit] May 16th
The battle for Giddings Mall may be spilling over into SW Paynterton. The Shadwick Walk PD [90,36] suffers from frequent zombie break-ins. Survivor casualties are light and all zombie attacks have been repulsed so far.
