The People's Liberation Army is a special unit ordered by the government of China to cease zombie activity in the city of Malton. The PLA is one of the world's largest military forces and the government of China is confident that with the numbers placed into this unit will ensure total survivor victory and restoration of Malton.
The PLA is a pro-survivor group, although it will do whatever it means necessary to ensure postive outcomes. If you are a Player Killer (PK), don't be afraid, the PLA is not out for you.
Chinese authorities have approved a massive recruitment campaign in Malton for any survivor wishing to be apart of the People's Liberation Army. Any survivor class, any level is okay with us. Training will be required for players who are new, just to teach them how to survive, and be fit for PLA duty.
The PLA is not your regular survivor group. You want to just sit around and do nothing? This is not your group. If you want to make a difference, this is.

Organization
Malton Authority Board The Malton Authority Board (MAB) is the central force behind operations in the People's Liberation Army. Exclusivly set up for Malton, this MAB has special jurisdiction over Malton operations and won't always have to report in to the Chairman of the CCCP of China. The MAB is made up of 5 of China's top generals. All decisions are made and decided here.
Combat Operation Post The Combat Operation Post of the People's Liberation Army in Malton obides by one simple goal: Ensure survivor victory at any cost. The COP is the main ground force in the Malton unit and sees action across the city. All soldiers are under the COP banner and follow the orders of MAB appointed officers to lead on the battlefield. Combat Communications is specially designed for the COP. Combat Communications is the main communication line for soliders in the COP and will be used for real time operations and/or general communications on suburb events or zombie activity.
Elite Operations Unit The Elite Operations Unit is not your regular ground force in the People's Liberation Army. The EOU is the finest soldiers in the PLA Malton Unit and are not to be taken lightly. Only experienced and disiplined soliders are allowed. Rapid response time, secrecy, and instant mobilization are this unit's speciality. As with the Combat Operation Post, the EOU ensures that survivors will walk tall and that zombies wont be able to call anywhere in Malton a safe haven.

Each team is headed by one Lieutenant Colonel with 4 Majors working under the rank while Majors have 9 Captains working under them. The Lieutenant Colonel is not in charge of whole sections but rather the teams working in them. Suburb Sections are headed by Generals(MAB).

August 2008
Operation Red Sword PLA ground forces are moving in to take back Fort Perryn from zombie hands and create a safeguard for survivors in South East Malton. This operation is to be followed out by the Overlord and Great Wall Team. Update: Progress being made! Keep it up!
Operation Vigilant Jewel Operations lead by the Rolling Dragon Team. Their mission: Reclaim the southwest and place it under direct PLA control.
