The Red Cresent Research Facility is dedicated to research in the aid of others. Established in 1956, the Red Cresent Research Facility was long kept a secret from the general public, with scientists living within the facility on the outskirts of Malton, and is a sister of the Black Mesa Facility. With the zombie crisis facility personnel quickly moved into Malton before the quarantine came into effect. A base of operations was erected and the facility's scientists began to study the "zombie" virus with hopes of developing a cure. Under the protection of the security personnel and B.H.C.U. the scientists were able to conduct most of their research in peace.

So, who are the R.C.R.F. and what do they actually hope to achieve? Were a semi-serious role-playing group in the game to have fun as well as make an impact doing it. Upper managment believes that everyone has a voice in the group from the newbie to the veteran player in both the operations we undertake, and how we plan to achieve them. As well as this, the group maintains a "lets do it" attitude. Want a reason to kill zombies in the street while in a green operating suburb? Ask upper management to declare Martial Law and go to it. As long as were not breaking any of our group policies and can have fun doing it, why not? Beyond all this we won't actually force you to activly role-play, just try to stay in rough character (scientists shoulden't be pushing for a slaughter, etc.) and as well try to keep active on the forums. Can't make a planned time assualt? life doesn't revolve around urbandead, were sure someone else can take your place and you can help after/before the fact. We don't plan on being the largest group the games ever seen, but we do plan on putting up one hell'va fight.

Unfortunately with increased zombie hostility the Red Cresent Research Facility has been incuring heavier then acceptable loses. With a limited amount of personnel the remaining members have decided that outside recruitment must begin to refill the lost ranks of the security, scientific and military departments.
The Red Cresent Research Facility is split into several sub-divisions, each given specific tasks and jobs, yet working towards a common goal. The Red Cresent Research Facility does not employ those that have trouble with the law. Pker's, Gker's and spy's should reconsider there way's before seeking employment with the RCRF. Continuation of these activities will result in termination of employment.
[edit] Zombie Test Subjects (Zombie Personnel)
The Red Cresent Department of Scientific Research and Development is always searching for zombies as use as test subjects. The Personnel have discovered a method using specialy developed technology to tame the zombies and turn them against there fellow zombies. Unfortunately this technology the personnel have developed is not 100% reliable and during field tests the tamed zombies have been reported to turn against research and enforcement personnel during rare occasions. More information has been provided in the research pamplet below.

In the case that the zombie hordes become too large an evacuation plan to escape from Malton has been prepared and details can be found in the attached document. If all contact ceases from facility personnel for an extended period of time, it can be assumed the evacuation plan was initiated.
