Group History & Background

The Rhodenbank Civil Defense Corps (RCDC) was formed by the defenders of the Billinghurst Place Police Department during a zombie siege in November 2005. From those humble beginnings, we've been undertaking the continuous work of providing comfortable living for all Rhodenbank's residents and visitors.

Do you share the goal of a safe, comfortable NE Malton with lots of beer? We welcome closer cooperation with all serious non-PKer groups.

As we all know, community involvement is key to any civic-minded group. That's why we urge anyone who wants to get in touch with us for any reason (love letters, hate mail, revive needs, PKer updates, break-in reports) to visit our section of the Dulston Alliance forum.

We heal and revive our members first, of course. Others can be revived by finding themselves at one of our local revivification points, listed below.

We're not big on mandates, ranks, orders, or directives. Instead, members make democratic suggestions and if they're good ideas, they'll catch on. Unless Rhodenbank is in some serious trouble, you can usually find at least some of us relaxing at Malton's Finest Pub.

Don't want to join us? We're ok with that, and will help you survive in Rhodenbank all the same!

Group Services

The RCDC's primary reason for being is a safe and comfortable Rhodenbank. To that end, we provide the following services at no cost to residents.

  • Gardening Assistance (see also: Zombie Hunting)
  • Animal Control
  • Mobile Phone maintenance
  • Home and Building Repair
  • First Aid
  • Revivification

Think of us as your friendly town council, but with axes instead of taxes.

That said, we do ask that you help us out by noticing signs and spray tags around the suburb. These are for all of our protection. Help us out!

Revivification Service

The suburb's revivification points are located at the Upshall Monument [82,6] and Orome Avenue [88,4]. Both of these revive points are regularly patrolled and maintained by members of the RCDC. In addition, under the auspices of the Sacred Ground Policy, the cemetery located at [88,1] serves as an alternate revive point. While this opinion is not shared by all survivors and suburbs in Malton, our group does support this worthy cause. Survivors therefore should not kill zombies at this location unless they have been verified to have Brain Rot.

Cellular/Radio Communications

know what you are talking about Short-wave Radio Info
This group or location has a dedicated radio frequency.

Frequency: 27.96 MHz
Transmitter Coordinates:
The Anstruther Building: [85,6]
The Ablett Arms: [86,6]
Rhodenbank: [80,0]-[89,0]-[89,9]-[80,9]

The RCDC has assumed the responsibility of fueling and maintaining the generator in the Anstruther Building as local contractors to MalTel.

Aside from reliable cellular service, you will find many of the RCDC-manned resource or high-traffic buildings will have radio transmitters for public use located in easily accessible areas. During your stay in our suburb please make sure to tune you receivers into the RCDC's dedicated radio frequency 27.96, station KRFR, for important (possibly lifesaving) information.

Medical Facilities

Redcross.jpg
There are five hospitals located in Rhodenbank:

Marcellus General Hospital [88,8]
St. Alban's Hospital [81,5]
St. Alfred's Hospital [80,0]
St. Helier's Hospital [80,6]
St. Mark's Hospital [87,5]

All of these hospitals are to be kept Very Strongly (VS+2) barricaded, except when a location is being actively besieged by zombies. During such a situation survivors have permission to raise the barricades to Extremely Heavily (EH) in order to dissuade the zombies outside. The hospitals are also to be kept equipped with portable generators, and those generators are to be kept fueled at all times so that the Surgery skill can be successfully performed at those locations. If one of our hospitals is in need of supplies they are asked to please contact us via the group forum or use a radio alert ASAP.

Notification Board

Persona Non Grata Operation Status

RCDC reacts strongly against murder in our fair suburb. We also have little patience for survivors who destroy generators or radios. If you are killed by another survivor, report it both on our forum and on the Brainstock PK list. If you witness the destruction of a generator or radio, let us know as soon as possible. Important: We require a screenshot of the event and a link to the culprit's character profile.

The following notice board provides only the status of any operations currently being undertaken by the RCDC. No details are provided herein. Please refer to this section for up to the minute updates on the operation and only follow orders/updates provided by signed by RCDC staff.

The RCDC has proven themselves to be the working core of the Alliance, and it's members are a team of hard-working soldiers, who always see the greater good. They have scored the most overall points, and should be proud that they are there to clean up the streets of Dulston.
