This is the Barricade Plan for the suburb of Roachtown.

This diagram shows what levels buildings should ideally be barricaded to in order to provide protection in the form of Extremely Heavily Barricaded buildings, whilst designating entry points in the form of Very Strongly Barricaded buildings. Please note this plan indicates the preferred levels of barricades, and not the current levels.

About

This plan is based on the concept on an Optimal Defense Diagram.

  • This is the defense plan for Roachtown and it is specific to this suburb. No building will be less than very strongly barricaded, and extremely heavily barricaded buildings will be distributed to provide optimal protection. The barricades follow the Uniform Barricading Policy with a few minor exceptions, most notably that the NecroTech buildings are to be maintained at EHB with an adjacent building set at VSB for entry. We realize that this sets the NecroTech buildings essentially off-limits to those without Free Running, but we have decided that this is necessary in order to help keep our revive point running smoothly. VSB entry points have been chosen such that no survivor is ever more than 3AP away from getting inside a building.
  • We have a high ratio of EHB:VSB buildings due to the fact that Roachtown is currently under seige by the undead. (We are still within the Uniform Barricading Policy guidelines, however.) It is recommended that low-level survivors without Free Running find somewhere safer to shelter.
  • No survivors with free running should sleep in VSB buildings. These buildings are for survivors without free running, and for people to get supplies. This will prevent a buildup of people, which would attract zombies.
  • This plan was developed by the ROACH Klips, and they have declared responsibility for the maintainence of the barricading levels according to this diagram in Roachtown. Any assistance and/or comments are welcomed!
