Robert Batey (Lexicon)

I have been looking a bit more deeply into the the Actions of Robert Batey before the Outbreak. He headed the Defense Research Corporation, and his subcontracts with NecroTech and Rateger Inc..
From what I have gathered from survivors who knew Robert, it seems that he was a man with a strong buisness sense, but a weak conscience. I personally believe that his wife, Abigail, heavily influenced his decision making before the coming of the zombie plague. I think that her beliefs and the financial weakness of Rateger led him to transfer most of the DRC contracts to NecroTech.
His choice made financial sense, saving the DRC from potential bankruptcy. However, the transfer of contracts to NecroTech forced the new company to rush its projects. I do not believe that he intended to destroy the way of life in this city, but he is still, in my opinion, responsible for the disaster that has befallen Malton.
