Zombies almost always check inside. Some are often used as literal fortresses, and are sometimes so heavily barricaded that it is impossible to enter without Free Running. Tagging a police station earns 2 XP. They are listed as a Tactical Resource Point. Police Stations can be barricaded normally.

We had a fierce battle with a great advantage to Zeds in just a few minutes this building went down from a populated barricaed building to a Zed lunch time meal

Per the Wykewood Barricade Plan, this building should be kept at Very Strongly Barricaded.

Please do not over barricade this building! It should be maintained as an accessible safe house and free running entryway, and as such the barricades should be maintained at Very Strongly (VS+2). See the Uniform Barricading Policy for more details.

April 21, 2008 Barricades are down and zombies are inside with 22 survivors! The whole burb is overrun with 50 or more zeds.
