Speak Cinema

Description

One of Malton's few 3D cinemas. Customising your character in this building will allow you to wear 3D Glasses.

History

Malton's premiere indie cinema before the outbreak. They advertised in all the town rags with their famous catchphrase, "Do you Speak Cinema"? Cheesy, but it seemed to work. Ironically, speaking inside the theater was not allowed during films. Previously the Calvers cinema since 1956, the theater was abodoned in 1960, and was bought back and turned into Speak cinema by 1977. Some controversy arose over the fact that the abandoned cinema had housed a deranged serial killer and ex Kirwan Alley School teacher's impromptu lab, but the association simply added to the experience of Speak.

October 22, 2008 - The Setdance Film Festival arrives at Speak Cinema. All copies of other movies are destroyed, and replaced with copies of Conan the Barbarian in celebration of Thulsa Doom.

Barricade Policy

Extremely Heavily Barricaded at all times in accordance with the Lewill Heights Barricade Policy set and supported by the Sebright Union.
