As such, Malls are frequently used as safehouses and fortresses by survivors. Zombies often check inside (when they can get in), and organized zombie groups sometimes lay siege to them. They are listed as a Tactical Resource Point. Characters with the Shopping skill can loot specific stores. Those without will find these items at random: Bookstore: books, poetry books. Drugstore: first aid kits. Gun Store: pistols, pistol clips, shotguns, shotgun shells. Hardware Store: crowbars, fire axes, flare guns, spray cans, knives, portable generators, toolboxes. Liquor Store: beer, wine. Sporting Goods: baseball bats, cricket bats, fencing foils, golf clubs, hockey sticks, pool cues, ski poles, tennis rackets. Tech Store: GPS units, mobile phones, radios, radio transmitters, video cameras. Malls are large buildings, and are barricaded as such.

Spearing Mall

Description

Isolated, in the woodland at the extreme west of South Monroeville, it is a natural stop off point for those exploring. Its 80s design is just as dull and lifeless as you would expect.

History

Home of Monroevilles only fish market Spearing was one of the least populated malls after the outbreak began. This was partially due to its isolated location, and partially because of the smell of rotting fish.

Barricade Policy

VSB+2 should be more than enough at present.

8 zeds in mall,survivors sbould group together and retake the mall.

April 2008

After a cheerful, drunken, fermenting-Orange-julius-fueled month, the lively charmers of Spearing Mall Whack n' FAK association (Celia Lede, Dorian VonHaggis, Icey Monroe, Dan Bananon, Martha Wallock, Julius Mors, etc) woke a few days ago to find all of their number with Headshot had been slaughtered by tedious meanies: Spoilers. Dullards. Pricks.

I would like to point out you're not the only ones: I count 25 dead bodies outside at this moment; I also was killed by people, before I died I noticed at least 6 names, although I believe they only killed the level 10 people with headshot potential, an obvious attempt for zombies to regain control of the map. I am extremely unhappy about this and I plan a full zombie frenzy feast happenings in this mall. I warn all do-gooders to stay away, we only want to eat the ones who killed us. I suggest all others leave the mall in case they get caught up, and I also hope we can manage to keep this mall, I greatly enjoyed my time 'living' there and bid all of the Spearing mall Whack n' FAK association farewell, I did plan to protect this mall to the end, and that is what I will do, alive, or dead. -BBC Crew-
