This war was a mistake

This war was started under uncertain circumstances. Chris Hollis, Leader of the Special Tactics and Rescue Squad and Joe Biz member of Zeta Squad asked the Demons to stop spraying over S.T.A.R.S tags when a renegade Grayside Demon killed them both. Kiablade, the Leader of the Demons was absent for a few days and when she returned she found her group in the middle of a war with S.T.A.R.S. She ordered a regroup in West Grayside while he talked with a member of the S.T.A.R.S Board of Leaders via her talk page and later the Demons forum. The unnamed, but incredibly handsome and witty, S.T.A.R.S member came to terms with the Demons and the war ended. Although deaths still occurred on both sides after the ceasefire the groups eventually became allies(ironic). The Demons however refused the S.T.A.R.S offer of a place in East Grayside instead staying in West Grayside.

Doesn't this seem biased? Well since it was written by only one side, it invariably will be. Here is the other half of the story.

The fact is the Demons didn't even know it was STARS territory, until Chris and his friend came into the GD's base and started deleting their base tag. They were asked why and asked to stop, with no reply. As the Demons decided that Chris and Joe Biz were being uncooperative and purposefully attacking the HQ with tags, they decided that they wanted them both out, so did the only thing possible to forcefully remove them.

STARS then attacked the Demons with a far larger group. Of course, the Demons had killed their leader and that's fine and fair for one thrashing in most anyones eyes. However, after continueous assaults the Demons moved out, first to Wray Heights, supposedly outside the STARS territory, but as that proved unsafe (due to repeated murders by STARS members), to Roftwood, and then finally to West Grayside.

After that, peace talks were discussed on the Grayside Demon's forums with primarily Meinstorm (although Chris also turned up once or twice). Meinstorm produced a peace truce between the two groups, and acted as a sensible, intelligent human, even without the perfect diplomacy skills.

When the truce was set up the STARS tried to "allocate" the Demons a space in East Grayside, to which the GD replied "No, we're not your lap dogs" (or words to that effect), meaning that they do not wish to be told what to do.

Points of conflict

Points:
Kiablade: Says that the war started because the STARS were being arrogant, which to some extent is true.

Also she was not aware that East Grayside was officially anyone's territory when choosing it as the potential home for the Grayside Demons. At the time there were no STARS messages anywere as someone had already blanked them out --Kiablade 00:58, 4 February 2007 (UTC) - im sorry, i find that amazingly hard to believe. with some extreamly simple wiki searching you would have found the major group in the suburb, and tags were checked almost daily. - Chris Hollis - If I never see a STARS member wandering around, and don't see any STARS tags, that says to me that there is no group nearby, sorry to bust your bubble. I only started reading the wiki -after-, since at the time, running around not seeing anyone was good enough. --Kiablade 23:35, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

You have got to be kidding me. we have 30+ members all over EG, step into most buildings and id venture to say that a STARS member is in, or close to every building in EG. and tags on most major builidings. its not like we just sprung up after the conflict, we have been a major group for a long time now. -CH
Not my fault I didn't see any around at the time! --Kiablade 21:23, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

Chris Hollis: Says that the war started over his death during a somewhat peaceful mission. All he wanted to do was investigate the recent tags that were popping up over STARS tags.

Why did Chris only find out when the Grayside Deamons started spraying the blank squared? - koryo

- The war seems blown out of proportion for the Demons because of the massive diffrence in numbers between the two groups, during the war, the Grayside Demons were constantly bombarded by 20+ members who were active and ready to fight, while the STARS fought 7 or 8 people in total.
