Description

St. Danilo's Church is located in the north-western area of the suburb of Dakerstown, which is in the NW corner of the city of Malton.

History

St. Danilo's Church is named after Saint Danilo II the Serb, which is rather exciting as the church is Catholic and Saint Danilo II was Orthodox. When St. Matthias's Church of Dakerstown burned about a century ago, St. Danilo's held every church ceremony within the suburb's borders. This lasted for six years as St. Matthias's was rebuilt due to its importance to Dakerstown.

While St. Matthias's Church performed the weddings and other happy ceremonies, St. Danilo's held the funerals. This is because St Danilo's is closer to Dakerstown cemetery than St. Matthias's, thus keeping the traffic between the cemetery and the churches at minimum.

Now, after the outbreak, St. Danilo's Church rarely sees long ceremonies or rings with hymns, but its beautiful frescoes and remind citizens and living dead of Dakerstown to contemplate the mysteries of the divine.

Barricade Policy

By Dakerstown Barricade Plan, this building should be maintained as Very Strongly Barricaded, but due the situation of Dakerstown (Ghost town) it might be unbarricaded, in worst case ransacked.
