The hospital campus consists of several small interconnected campus-style buildings. Before the outbreak, the central lawn leading to the main entrance featured attractive landscaping and several bronze sculptures.

St. Innocent's was the first hospital in this area. It was developed by a generous group of Catholic benefactors, who wanted to serve the growing surburban community.
