Zombies frequently check inside. At the moment the Hospital is one of the few buildings in which Portable Generators have a use other than powering the lights, and increasing search probability. Players with the Surgery Skill can heal for 15 HP if the Hospital has a fueled up Generator. Hospitals are listed as Tactical Resource Points. Hospitals can be barricaded normally. Among the internal descriptions found in Hospitals: "...its wards and corridors blackened with the soot of a recent fire" "...its empty wards criss-crossed with snapped quarantine tape." "...one of the city's psychiatric hospitals." "...dark corridors leading through abandoned wards." "...its emergency room in disarray." "...its lobby covered with quarantine posters." "...a children's hospital with bright murals across the walls. " "The main lobby is riddled with bullet holes." "It was one of the last to be evacuated, and seems to have been cleared out in a hurry." "...a derelict hospital that was closed down years ago."

[edit] Pre-Outbreak History

Started in the mid-80's as a free clinic to cater to the underprivilaged in the factory districts of Osmondville and Gulsonside, St. Telesphorous has always remined the smaller of the pair of hospitals in Scarletwood. Plauged by constant budget problems and a mostly incompetent staff, the Hospital went under in 2005, just weeks before the initial outbreak began.

[edit] Post-Outbreak History

Since the Outbreak, St. Telesphorous has found new life. Biomedical Engineer Samuel Cork set up a small practice within this hospital in late 2006, as a means of bringing badly needed medical aid to Malton. Following his lead, a nucleas of disgruntled ex-necrotech employees developed around him, with the aim of converting the clinic into a research center to research means of radically combating the spread of the outbreak. At present, St. Telesphorous is one of the safer medical centers in Southern Malton, accepting injured survivors from across the city.

15 August 2008 - The Hospital is on "extremely heavily barricaded". I thinks it's because the PD and the FD near it are ruined (maybe 20 zombies outside) - --GoLookAndKill 16:31, 15 August 2008 (BST)
