[edit] Stockley Walk Police Department
[edit] Description
This building is a PD located in the southwest corner of Molebank, at [10,48].
[edit] History
Located in the suburb of Molebank, the Stockley Walk Police Department was the typical entry point for new police officers who had been transferred from other cities. Many new police officers recently graduated from the academy also found themselves assigned to the station as their first assignment. The high officer turnover and relative inexperience of many of the police made the department a bit of a joke amongst the Malton PD, and, for a veteran, "going to the Stocks" was usually understood to be a teaching position as much as anything else.
Ironically, during the evacuation, the Stockley Walk station was used as a staging area for a number of military units, which meant that it survived the initial few weeks of the zombie plague more or less intact. As military chain of command broke down and casualties mounted, however, much of that protection disappeared.
Because of its close proximity to St. Jude's Cathedral and the large stockpiles of ammunition left by the military command staff, the Stockley Walk station now serves primarily as the armory for survivor groups operating out of the Cathedral, particularly the Ecclesiarchy Militant (who refer to the building as the Temple Armory) and the Knights of St. Jude.

Ruined. The doors are flapping in the breeze as three zeds sun themselves inside behind a cracked window. --Sicrowell 22:33, 12 April 2008 (BST)
