20070613 President of Malton Elections

Connorsname 18:07, 13 June 2007 (BST)

Suggestion Type
New Event: Presidential Elections

Suggestion Scope
Everyone

Suggestion description
Even though the people of Malton are blocked off from the rest of the world dosn't mean we can't be civil. We should elect a president for Malton. The president can have a group of secret service dedicated to protecting him from assassins and zombie hordes. Im not entirely sure about what kind of duties the president can do but that is what you are here for.

Guess you all have a point. Would kind of ruin the point of an apocalypse game. Oh well.--Connorsname 13:45, 14 June 2007 (BST)

Kill Votes

#Kill Whats the point of this, the President/ Major would of been evaculated when the outbreak first happened. This would sever no point also because the presidend wouldn't have no authority since Malton is more of a tribal/group ruled area with no central goverment but small groups controling areas. One central leader would never work so kill this idea. Unsigned vote removed. - BzAli 21:34, 13 June 2007 (BST)

  1. Kill - We already have elections for the Mayor of Malton. This year Murray Jay Suskind and Bullgod won together in a close vote against Karloth Vois. It's here in the wiki somewhere, check it out.--DonTickles 19:37, 13 June 2007 (BST)
  2. Kill Never gonna work. Out of genre, and a bit silly. Sorry.--Seventythree 20:53, 13 June 2007 (BST)
  3. Kill - Malton is an example of anarchy --Duke GarlandTLCD SSZ 21:09, 13 June 2007 (BST)
  4. Kill We create the order we want. - BzAli 21:34, 13 June 2007 (BST)
  5. Kill -- If anything, Malton would be under martial law, so... no. --Firemanrik 00:35, 14 June 2007 (BST)
  6. kill - Wiki event, voted on by the wiki community. I kinda wish it was ingame but it would be obnoxious, complicated, and effectively pointless. Everyone would want to be on the ballet and it would be too much of an eyesore to read through hundreds or thousands of people to find one person and vote for them. Too much punishment not enough reward. --karek 01:14, 14 June 2007 (BST)
  7. kill - Really goes against the idea of a zombie-apocalypse and the chaos that follows. One of the main points of the game is that there is no order aside from the slight security of a group of survivors who have banded themselves together. To be honest, I would imagine that if there was a president, nobody would care about them at all, I certainly wouldn't. Due to this it doesn't really contribute to the average player, therefore making it a weaker suggestion.Werewolf32 03:16, 14 June 2007 (BST)
  8. Kill I was totally for this until DonTickles pointed out how we have elections on the wiki. --Secruss 04:07, 14 June 2007 (BST)
  9. Kill - A zombie apocalypse with an election....No. Besides, you don't even know if this is the UK or US. --User:Axe27/Sig 04:44, 14 June 2007 (BST)
  10. Kill - A president for Malton, ingame or wiki, is just plain stupid. Malton is a city not a country. --Sonofagun18 06:24, 14 June 2007 (BST)
  11. Kill - as others.-- Vista  +1  10:43, 23 June 2007 (BST)
  12. Kill - It's ridiculous, we'll be having presedintial elections in a Zombie outbreak, besides, how will you stop zerging votes from your multis? EchelonThree 14:08, 25 June 2007 (BST)

Spam/Dupe Votes

  1. Spam This is Urban Dead, not Urban Republicans. --Magentaine 05:01, 14 June 2007 (BST)
  2. Spam Unbelievably ridiculous and random. --JudeMaverick W! TJ! Talk Zzz... P! Nuts! 10:08, 14 June 2007 (BST)
  3. Spam - Only voting kill on this would be an abuse of the kill vote. --Matthew Fahrenheit YRCT+1 05:17, 15 June 2007 (BST)
  4. Spam - Every vote should be spam - this suggestion is completely ridiculous. armareum 01:11, 16 June 2007 (BST)
  5. LSD is bad for you - Pointless. Like a retractable sharpie with the tip retracted.-- dǝǝɥs ɯɐds: sʎɐʍ1ɐ! 01:08, 18 June 2007 (BST)
