20070728 Digestion Change

Midianian 12:15, 28 July 2007 (BST)

Suggestion type
Skill change

Suggestion scope
Zombies with Digestion

Suggestion description
Currently a zombie with Digestion gains the same amount of HP as the damage he inflicted (4 HP). But the flesh of another zombie is dead and decayed and doesn't heal as much as fresh survivor meat. I suggest you only gain half of the damage you inflicted (2HP) when munching on a fellow zombie.

  8. Keep - As above. Zombies who ZK usually don't have digestion, and eating just for HP is a waste of AP.--Wooty 18:39, 28 July 2007 (BST)

  13. Keep - Encourages zombies to attack humans and not each other, and it makes sense.--Pdeq 00:08, 29 July 2007 (BST)
  14. Keep - Makes sense. Might actually make the zombies come out of hiding and find survivors... --Heavy DDR 06:32, 29 July 2007 (BST)

  20. Weak Keep - #1- Makes sense; #2 Not overpowered; #3 Doesn't really hurt newbie zombies, because zombies don't need health! BoboTalkClown 20:41, 8 August 2007 (BST)

  23. Keep - Im disagreeing with grims and Vista, my lucky day. Anyway this makes sense, so I like it --Your friendly neighbourhood psychopathc, Lord Evans 19:28, 10 August 2007 (BST)
  24. Keep - Makes sense and I'm not sure how the rest of you play zombies, but I never worry about HP. Worst thing that happens is I spend 6AP to stand up the next day and if someone wants to kill me they usually do it one go. TBH I don't think I've ever came back with any amount of HP missing that it'd be worth it to bite another zed. I'd much rather spend my AP tearing down cades and eating(clawing) humans. --Dipcup 01:40, 11 August 2007 (BST)
  25. Keep -makes sense. I like it.--Dr Doom86 07:48, 14 August 2007 (BST)

Kill Votes

  1. Kill - The suggestion makes some sense, but is pointless. There's nothing wrong with the present mechanics. If it ain't broke...--Jiangyingzi 20:21, 28 July 2007 (BST)
  2. Kill - Pointless and makes it harder on low level zombies more than anything.--Karekmaps?! 21:28, 28 July 2007 (BST)
Re - Err... as far as I know, low level zombies don't usually have Digestion. --Midianian 11:17, 29 July 2007 (BST)
It's the first skill in the bite tree.--Karekmaps?! 01:46, 30 July 2007 (BST)
  3. Kill - Current mechanic is fine. --Druuuuu 01:01, 29 July 2007 (BST)
  4. Kill - Sometimes there are no humans around to bite and when there are, you're usually trying to kill them when with claws anyway.--Insomniac By Choice 02:06, 29 July 2007 (BST)
  5. If your that bad off that you think you need to use Digestion on other zombies, your probably better of just getting yourself killed. I think this just hurts newbies.--Pesatyel 18:44, 29 July 2007 (BST)
Could somebody please explain (on the talkpage) how exactly this hurts newbies? Newbies usually focus on getting XP, so neither Digestion or Infection are high in their priorities. They're more likely to get Lurching Gait and Ankle Grab, after which the change is equally harmful to them as it is to older players. --Midianian 10:56, 30 July 2007 (BST)
  6. Kill pointless it's fine the way it is.----Sexualharrison MR ה TStarofdavid2.png Boobs.gif 00:06, 30 July 2007 (BST)
  7. Kill - The digestion skill is marginal enough as it is. Nerfing it would make it almost completely pointless.-- Vista  +1  22:45, 30 July 2007 (BST)
  8. kill - Pojintless, if it aint broke, dont fix it. --Grim s-U! 05:46, 5 August 2007 (BST)
  9. kill this one genuinely is a big, nasty zombie nerf, meh... as said, digestion is already a marginal skill, don't make it worse! --WanYao 23:30, 8 August 2007 (BST)

Spam/Dupe Votes

  1. DON'T NERF BITE. Oh, and you want to encourage zombies to attack harmans? Increase the damage done to harmans, don't nerf zombies where they need help most.--ShadowScope 00:33, 29 July 2007 (BST)
