20080126 Endurance Training

Cheeseman W!RandomTalk 18:16, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

Suggestion type
Skill

Suggestion scope
Survivors

Suggestion description
This skill --> Endurance Training will be added to the Survivor Skills Tree with Body Building as a Pre-Requisite. It will increase your total encumbrance by 15% to a maximum of 115. Its basically allowing you to carry an extra few items but not enough to give you a significant advantage. The logic behind this is that while it will take longer to use up the extra supplies you are carrying, it will conversely take you more AP to restock your supplies back up to that level. Also, we have a way to increase HP, so why not encumbrance? And its been a while since we last got something to spend our XP on.

Keep Votes

  1. Author Keep - My suggestion. It'd be really pointless if I voted Kill wouldn't it. -- Cheeseman W!RandomTalk 18:17, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

Kill Votes

  1. Kill - Uhh... no. We don't need survivors carring around 6 portable generators instead of 5. BoboTalkClown 18:20, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
    • Re It'll still be 5. Thats the whole point of the extra 15%. Not quite enough for an extra Generator. :P -- Cheeseman W!RandomTalk 18:23, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
  2. Kill - Bad idea is bad. Bobs Aturd 18:49, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
  3. Kill - no true downside to carrying more, 100% is fine.--Zach016 19:10, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
  4. Kill - This is just as bad as all the rucksack suggestions that have come up. The space we have is fine the way it is, and I'm a pure survivor with no zombie skills. It's fine. --Vandurn 19:28, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
  5. Kill - Although, I have to give you credit for trying to convince people that more capacity can somehow be disadvantageous. - Grant (talk) 19:52, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
  6. Kill - Encumberance is fine how it is.Studoku 22:04, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
  7. Kill - I might, however vote for a skill that either gave survivors an extra 10HP or allowed them to carry more equipment.--SeventythreeTalk 22:28, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
    • Re - Isn't that exactly what this does? It gives you the extra equipment carrying option while Body Building gives you the 10HP. Or are you meaning that it doesn't have body building as a Pre-Requisite? -- Cheeseman W!RandomTalk 22:30, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
Sorry, maybe I didn't make myself clear enougth. If you where suggesting a skill that allowed a survivor a choice between extra health or extra encumbrance, with no possibiblity to gain both, but a choice between the two I might vote for it.--SeventythreeTalk 22:33, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
Ok. Thanks for clearing that up. Thats a quite a good idea actually...hmmm...withdrawing this to stick that into it. Kinda obvious that this is gonna go nowhere now. :) -- Cheeseman W!RandomTalk 22:36, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

Spam/Dupe Votes

  1. Spam - Survivors can already carry ridiculous amounts of stuff. --Midianian|T|T:S|C:RCS| 22:29, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
