20080525 Sinks

Ioncannon11 04:55, 25 May 2008 (BST)

Suggestion type
Clothing

Suggestion scope
Humans.

Suggestion description
It strikes me as odd that no buildings in Malton allow you to wash your clothes. I think that it is only logical that, at least SOME buildings might have them. I think Malls (i.e. Giddings Mall), Hospitals, and NT's should be outfitted with sinks to wash blood-flecked clothing. You'd wash clothes from your "Edit Profile and Settings" page, where there would be an option to do so under the clothing selection drop-down menus.

Keep Votes

  1. Keep - Author vote. Ioncannon11 04:56, 25 May 2008 (BST)
  2. Keep - Get rid of the dupe vote- If you think it's crap, vote spam. It prevents decent suggestions from ever making it out. Situations change, you know. --BoboTalkClown 03:33, 26 May 2008 (BST)
  3. Keep - Makes sense. Saves having to go and get another set of clothes. Hospital sounds like a reasonable building but I don't know about the mall (unless theres a fountain). If it is accesed from the settings menu then there couldn't be any text (i.e you remove the blood stains from your clothes in a sink) Zig13 - 26/05/2008 at 12:07(BST)
  4. Keep - Because I don't want to make a pilgrimage to Tompson Mall every time my Stetson gets bloody. --Midianian|T|T:S|C:RCS| 12:24, 26 May 2008 (BST)
  5. Keep - I want to wash my clothes, they're gross! I think it should probably cost AP to wash your clothes, but I'm voting keep anyway. Don't much care about the mechanics, I just want clean clothes without having to run halfway across town every time something gets bloody. --Jasonjason 12:51, 26 May 2008 (BST)

Kill Votes

  1. Kill - Useless addition. Also, who is maintaining the waterways for the city when it is plagued by zombies? The Malton Sanitation Department? Plus, completely and utterly unnecessary.  Billy Club Thorton  T!  RR  04:57, 26 May 2008 (BST)
  2. Kill - Trivial, and I prefer the duped one more. ~AriedartinTalkA KS J abt all 10:48, 26 May 2008 (BST)
  3. kill as billy. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 12:03, 26 May 2008 (BST)
  4. Kill - Just go to the nearest building with your clothes type and change them, that is the ingame sink. --Pvt human 12:20, 26 May 2008 (BST)

Spam/Dupe Votes

  1. Dupe -- To know the face of God is to know madness....Praise knowledge! Mischief! Mayhem! The Rogues Gallery!. <== DDR Approved Editor 03:16, 26 May 2008 (BST)
I like the idea of sinks more. And the location is different. Ioncannon11 03:17, 26 May 2008 (BST)
  2. Dupe- As Iscariot, and Bobo, it prevents crap that's been suggested from being regurgitated hundreds of times, voting keep because you like it when you know it's a dupe is just silly, especially when the dupe is Peer Reviewed.--Karekmaps?! 03:46, 26 May 2008 (BST)
This is not a dupe! I changed the locations available and washing. Plus, this doesn't let you repair clothes. It is totally different! Ioncannon11 04:03, 26 May 2008 (BST)
  3. Dupe- Of this. --BKM 08:43, 26 May 2008 (BST)
  4. Dupe, as given. If it wasn't, I'd Spam it on the grounds that it's a zombie apocalypse, not the Sims. What next: tying shoelaces? --Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 09:36, 26 May 2008 (BST)
  5. Spam - Not quite the same as the dry cleaning suggestion, but similar enough that if that suggestion were implemented it would make this one redundant. --Explodey 11:42, 26 May 2008 (BST)
  6. Spam You seriously made a suggestion to be able to wash your clothes? What's next, Monk? Turn the light switch off an even number of times skill? Before I get too off the point, I always thought the coolest part about survivors in horror movies was seeing their blood soaked and torn clothing that just showed how bad ass they were. They got into this huge fight, got messed up, and survived. But if you want your characters to be little nancy boys and dab a hanky in a sink to get out those pesky Appletini stains then you go ahead. Fairy.--– Nubis 12:10, 26 May 2008 (BST)
  7. Dupe - Very similar in nature to the suggestion linked and, as a result, this suggestion would be pretty redundant if the other was implemented. Also referring to this line: This is not a dupe! I changed the locations available and washing. Plus, this doesn't let you repair clothes. It is totally different! suggests that you took that original suggestion and worked directly from it. -- Cheese 13:26, 26 May 2008 (BST)
