Suggestion description
I suggest that you would be able to ignore the stand-up notifications. There would be a dropdown list on the settings page (just like for groans, flares, etc.) containing the following choices:

  • Observe all stand up notifications
  • Observe only notifications about group members
  • Ignore all stand up notifications

  3. Keep - Why not? --Sir Bob Fortune RR 21:37, 5 June 2008 (BST)
  4. Keep Although it helps teach trenchies that they need to dump bodies, I can see how in a siege it would be annoying. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 21:38, 5 June 2008 (BST)
  5. Keep - Definitely for it. The stand up notifications remind me way too much of Kevan's April Fools Facebook joke.--Jiangyingzi 22:00, 5 June 2008 (BST)
  6. Keep - For some reason I thought this was already in the game. --Explodey 22:05, 5 June 2008 (BST)

  11. Keep - Sure, though I won't use it, it needs to be put in for those who spend lots of time dead. --Vandurn 00:00, 6 June 2008 (BST)
  12. Keep - It is already in use for similar actions, and it's quite a good idea. --ZsL 00:02, 6 June 2008 (BST)
  13. Keep - Gets rid of spam, but you have the option of turning notifications back on in a siege or whatnot. --WanYao 00:44, 6 June 2008 (BST)

  17. Keep - It's hard to say kill too. -- Takiel 23:37 (EST), 5 June 2008
  18. Keep/Change - I'm probably never going to use it, but it's always nice to have the option. Could do with some further refinement though, like 'Ignore like-state standings' (Zombies ignore zombies getting up, humans ignore humans getting up.) --Blake Firedancer T E RNL? P.I.S.I.T. 05:10, 6 June 2008 (BST)
If I can't do keep/change votes, you can ignore the change.
  19. Keep - Good suggestion. Ioncannon11 05:31, 6 June 2008 (BST)

  32. keep--CorndogheroT-S-Z 21:46, 17 June 2008 (BST)
  33. Keep - I can't see why not. Options are always cool. I'd like to see an ignore revive-rises option, but even this is better than nothing. --Atticus 18:01, 18 June 2008 (BST)

Kill Votes

  1. How about "ignore stand up notifications more then an hour old" or "ignore stand up notifications more than 15 minutes old"--Pesatyel 22:44, 5 June 2008 (BST)
Re: That was proposed on Talk:Suggestions, but I can't see much use for that. If you can tell me how that's useful, I could make a revision. --Midianian|T|T:S|C:RCS| 22:48, 5 June 2008 (BST)
  2. Change - This was sort of an implementation of one of my suggestions, so I like the fact that survivors get to see zombies who rise before they can be dumped, however I think that revivified survivors standing up should be ignorable (that would be too common an occurrence at indoor revive points) and zombies should be able to ignore stand ups (given that most stand ups occur outside when they are attacking a building. And while we're at it, get rid of the links to the zombies profile, it kills the anonymity of the zombie -- boxy talki 04:39 6 June 2008 (BST)
  3. Kill - As Boxy, there's a reason the suggestion(the one implemented not this one) was reviled by the zombie player-base portion of the game every time it came up, of course it was ignored because they were zombies but that doesn't mean Kevan can't redeem himself once in a while post update.--Karekmaps?! 12:29, 7 June 2008 (BST)
