20080623 Second-tier Skill To Show Infection Status

F4tal3rror 17:02, 23 June 2008 (BST)

Suggestion type
Skill, balance change

Suggestion scope
Infected, and those who are healing

Suggestion description
When I suggested diagnosis showing infection status, some people seemed concerned that it would be OP/IMBA. While i don't feel it is the case, this is a parallel suggestion for those people.

Rename diagnosis "wound analysis" or something (hopefully something slightly better..i don't like that name), and create a new skill called diagnosis, which is Tier 2, and shows a player's infection status by changing their hp colour to green, like the scent fear does. This allows players to prioritise heals to infected. It only takes one FAK to cure infection anyway, and players will heal people who are injured anyway, but I consider this to be useful regardless, especially when there are a mass of players who are injured, allowing players to prioritise who they heal. Also, if this is extended to show zombie infections, it will prove useful when resurrecting zombies who are infected.

  1. Keep This is my suggestion, and I believe it to be an improvement (However I consider it un-nessisary to be a second tier skill). My reasons for voting keep are the same for creating the suggestion. F4tal3rror 17:07, 23 June 2008 (BST)
