20080626 Jetpacks

Karloth Vois DRGR 16:40, 26 June 2008 (BST)

Suggestion type
Skill/ Item based Free-running improvement

Suggestion scope
Survivors

Suggestion description
Jetpacks are now available in Malton. They can be found in armories at 5%.

The new skill "manoeuvre" (Civilian, 100XP) must be purchased before a jetpack can be used.

Survivors with both a jetpack and at least 1 fuel can in their inventory can now freerun at a rate of 2 squares per AP. Jetpacking into a ruin will cause the survivor to crash, causing 20 HP damage and the loss of the jetpack and any fuel.

Due to the explosive nature of the equipment, survivors with a jetpack in their inventory are assumed to be doused in fuel. Any firearm attacks will do double damage.

Zombies can also use jetpacks, providing they have Memories of Life.

Upon choosing a direction, a zombie with a jetpack will automatically fly into the walls of that building. This does 4 levels of damage to the barricades and spreads bits of zombie gore throughout the building; infecting 5-10 survivors inside. The zombie must spend 10AP recollecting their various body parts before it can attack once more.
