20090825 Last reviver reviver's note!!!

Yonnua Koponen Talk ! Contribs 20:25, 25 August 2009 (BST)

Suggestion type
Extractor Drivvle

Suggestion scope
Extractors? So, people who used to be tractors I guess...

Suggestion description
Pow, pow, pow! This suggestion suggests that you, when DNA extracting a zombie, get a small message saying who the last extractor (within a week) was. If there wasn't, it says "Data unavailable". Pow, pow, pow!

I'm submitting it, although there were some concerns on DevSug about how this would be possible as flavour. I'd say it's something along the lines of each time you extract, the extractor, which is registered to a necrotechnician, sends off a signal to the NT mainframe, or something.

So... I dunno.... vote or something.

Keep Votes

  1. Author Vote - I guess...--Yonnua Koponen Talk ! Contribs 20:29, 25 August 2009 (BST)
  2. Uncertain Keep - I like the idea of NecroNet improvements, but am unsure whether this will cause major changes. I'll vote keep for now. Nemesis645 21:34, 25 August 2009 (BST)
This doesn't effect Necronet. o.O --Yonnua Koponen Talk ! Contribs 21:36, 25 August 2009 (BST)
  3. Keep - Meh. Why not? -- Uberursathis bear wants honey 20:22, 26 August 2009 (BST)
    Because it's a terrible idea?--Yonnua Koponen Talk ! Contribs 11:19, 27 August 2009 (BST)
I've seen worse. -- Uberursathis bear wants honey 17:32, 27 August 2009 (BST)
  4. Keep - What's the worst that could happen? User:Armpit_Odor/sig 21:40, 27 August 2009 (BST)
Weak Keep - Don't see how it could be useful to know who the last extractor would be, however I'm sure there are some smart people out there who would come up with a strategic use for it.Unsigned Vote Struck by Lelouch vi Britannia is helping make Ridleybank green_ and gives Achievements 18:04, 5 September 2009 (BST)

Kill Votes

  1. Kill - Why, exactly? This fixes no problem, provides no new entertainment, and basically adds useless information. I've never poked a zombie and wished I could know who had scanned him recently, and I don't see why anyone else would either. Lelouch vi Britannia is helping make Ridleybank green_ and gives Achievements 22:36, 25 August 2009 (BST)
  2. Kill - i just think that this would be a waste of time to even think of implanting it into game, who really cares about who was last reviver?..what you gonna do,find and kill him?.a complete kill.--Brainiac 00:33, 26 August 2009 (BST)
  3. Kill - As Lelouch--Orange Talk 00:34, 26 August 2009 (BST)
  4. Kill - There's no point to this, and would only burden the server. --Johnny Yossarian 01:53, 26 August 2009 (BST)
  5. Kill like above, it isn't really useful and just causes extra charges to the holy creator of UD :O --Gat 03:10, 26 August 2009 (BST)
  6. Kill - As above. --DANCEDANCEREVOLUTION-- 12:03, 26 August 2009 (BST)
  7. Kill - No. --Sonofagun18 16:21, 28 August 2009 (BST)
  8. Kill - useless information -- boxy talkteh rulz 10:28 30 August 2009 (BST)
  9. Kill - I don't want to know who tagged the zed before me. The glory is mine, all mine. I mean, it's not really useful to know that. --~Dr Frank (t) (DF) [P] (Sb) 12:52, 3 September 2009 (BST)
  10. Kill - I do agree that the DNA extractor needs to be jazzed up a bit but this 'feature' has no applications - role-playing, in-game, meta-game or realism. - Zig13 - 4/09/2009 at 10:37(BST)

Spam/Dupe Votes

  1. Spam - There is no RP justification for this. None whatsoever. How and why would you be able to know this information???? Makes no sense. Furthermore, it's just an excuse for more trenchcoating: "ZOMG! You revived that PeePeeKayer D3th KLUTEST you bastard! boom! headshot, lol". In other words the only people this really helps are those who harass and harrang PKers and Death Cultists. Finally, it doesn't fix a "problem" with the game, nor does really add to the fun. --WanYao 10:28, 26 August 2009 (BST)
I actually answered that question in the suggestion Wanyao. Tell me when you've read it so that I can "Remove this suggestion for editting".--Yonnua Koponen Talk ! Contribs 11:33, 26 August 2009 (BST)
I was going to say that that wasn't a valid argument... but then I remembered that scanners tell you who the zombie is, so there kinda sorta has to be a central database? Or something... However, it's still an encouragement for trenchacoaters to vendetta-PK, and screws over Pkers and Death Cultists by indirectly messing with zombie anonymity -- by messing with reviver anonymity. --WanYao 12:28, 26 August 2009 (BST)
  2. Spam - your RP excuse wasn't very good, and anyway - why have this psychic ability? I mean, something that gave you a creepy feeling that there were 100 zombies hiding in the burnt out mall would be useful, and creepy, and good RP (although horribly overpowered), but this seems pointless. --Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 22:40, 27 August 2009 (BST)
I agree, I'm thinking of changign my vote to spam to stop the people voting keep.--Yonnua Koponen Talk ! Contribs 11:01, 28 August 2009 (BST)
  3. Spam - Kind of smells of an attempt at a HUMOUROUS SUGGESTION (gasp), but it's pretty ambiguous. Either way it sucks. Cyberbob  Talk  18:08, 5 September 2009 (BST)
