20090827 Hide XP

Suggestion description
Adds an option to the settings page allowing a user to hide the line about their XP.

Currently you get:

You are some guy. You have 60 Hit Points and 0 Experience Points. You have 50 Action Points remaining.

If you activated this setting, you would get:

You are some guy. You have 60 Hit Points. You have 50 Action Points remaining.

This would not affect the display of your XP on your profile, or any other page.

The idea is just to reduce screen clutter a touch for those to whom XP is no longer something they need to keep track of each turn.

Kill Votes

  1. Why? --Yonnua Koponen Talk ! Contribs 11:00, 28 August 2009 (BST)
  2. Cause that's a TON of clutter.--Pesatyel 04:07, 29 August 2009 (BST)

  4. Kill - Adds clutter to settings. Also, the text that would be removed amounts to less than half a percent of the HTML sent. Not noticeable. --Midianian 16:46, 5 September 2009 (BST)
  5. As Midianian. ᚱᛁᚹᛖᚾ 14:15, 10 September 2009 (BST)

Spam/Dupe Votes

  1. Spam - I am spamming this because it is completely, utterly pointless. And removing a couple bits worth of text will make NO DIFFERENCE to bandwidth or page's loading speed, come on, get real kids. --WanYao 03:26, 28 August 2009 (BST)
  2. Spam - .... Several months of few and far between suggestions, and this is all we have to offer? More like a minor tweak than a suggestion, and as above, this will do next to nothing if you really have internet troubles. --Private Mark 03:42, 28 August 2009 (BST)
