Something forgotten

I forgot to add something important to the suggestion, but I wanna discuss with you first. I would also suggest that the attack dropdown contains "the zombie" and "another zombie", instead of just "a zombie".

I believe in the current system you already shoot "the zombie", but not only this makes it more informative, but you can also decide that "the zombie" who's spending AP talking instead of attacking is funny and deserves to live. ~m T! 16:11, 27 June 2007 (BST)

Actually, you almost NEVER attack "the zombie", because when you attack "a zombie", it is the one who has gone the longest without performing any action. So this "minor add on" actually results to a pretty major change, and should just be done as a separate suggestion. A lot of people (zombie players) will probably vote kill, so don;t mess up this suggestion by adding an this new element. ... 18:22, 27 June 2007 (BST)
Hm, I thought it was the opposite. Anyway, don't you think we should be able to at least attack the zombie in the crowd who's just attacked you? ~m T! 23:25, 27 June 2007 (BST)
i would vote kill on that. A zombie is a faceless enemy in the middle of the crown. Showing the "the zombie" for the last one you interacted with is one thing, making you able to attack him in the middle of a swarm of zeds is another. --People's Commissar Hagnat [cloned] [mod] 18:29, 27 June 2007 (BST)
I agree a zombie is faceless, and I play as a pro-zombie zombie myself. However, I believe that once a zombie chooses to attack a player, the player has the right to fight back. The zombie is grasping your neck, it doesn't matter if he looks just like any other zombie, you'd definetely aim for "the zombie". But then, as Swiers mentioned, I thought the current game mechanic was opposite as it actually is. If Kevan implemented it that way, he probably thought about that from the beginning. ~m T! 23:29, 27 June 2007 (BST)
