Suggestion talk:20071006 Show True Accuracy When Attacking Barricades

Server Load and Programming Complexity are NOT very good Kill reasons. You are voting on the merit of the suggestion and whether or not you think it belongs in the game. Server load/complexity issues are up to Kevan to decide.
Vote on the merit of the suggestion on the way it would affect the game, not how hard it is to implement -- boxy • talk • 13:07 7 October 2007 (BST)
People... READ and UNDERSTAND the suggestion before voting against it. All he wants is for the game to display the "published" hit chances against barricades. So where is the issue of tweaking and secrecy, etc? There is no issue, it's 1/2 the chance except for crowbars. Thing is, it DOES gets confusing even for a non-newb sometimes figuring out percentages for all the different weapons, with the different skills, etc... Just change the display to reflect the actually "published" percentages given a player's skills and weapons. Read the suggestion. --WanYao 14:07, 7 October 2007 (BST)
- And if the newbs want to maximise their attacks, they should read teh wiki... it's not hard, and they'll learn a lot more than the most efficient way to bash barricades -- boxy • talk • 14:37 7 October 2007 (BST)
- Fine... but that doesn't change the fact that most people seem to be voting "No" to a suggestion that isn't the actual suggestion... The actual suggestion is effectively just a cosmetic change displaying already "published" information as an integral part of the interface... Whether we disagree on the merits of that suggestion, that is what the suggestion is. --WanYao 18:25, 7 October 2007 (BST)
