Before the Spam

Before I spam this into oblivion and go off on a rant like I am thinking of doing... I'm gonna' let this one settle and think about it. For the last little while here, I have noticed an increasing number of suggestions that have been looking to make survivor nerfs. In the past, I have been quick to react to these suggestions negatively. However, if survivor nerf suggestions are coming up frequently, then there is something that is being seen by the player base that needs to be fixed. AP imbalance is just one thing that comes to mind - and the phrase/term is thrown around quite a bit.
