Tweeking

Would I be allowed to re-suggest this idea if I received insufficient votes?—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Magnum Odus (talkcontribs) at an unknown time.

Yes. You can remove it for edits, but let me say this now. You can only have one revision per day. Unless you mean not having enough votes, then you'll have to wait on that part... --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 15:32, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
I see. I am confident I will receive a lot of votes for this idea, so I will wait it out for now. Thank you very much. Magnum Odus 15:41, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
I would like to see you tweak this suggestion a bit, such as get rid of 50AP thing and have a provision not to override existing colors users have set up, and then resubmit. the only problem i think i have with this is that people might get confused with the colors, for instance in my account good people are blue and bad people are red. if i see somebody with blue or red paint, i might be confused about their status and have to click on their profile to see who they are causing hits on the server that otherwise would not happen. also i dont think you have addressed throwing paint at zombies, and for that matter could paint cans be considered weapons?--Scotw 05:59, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

Votes for humourous?

Is there a way I can remove those votes? I am by no means trying to be funny with my idea, and am trying to provide a way for people to check profiles without having to go through a lot of off-site lists. It seems to be a reoccuring thread in a lot of suggestions where unsubstantiated claims of humour or spam end up killing a suggestion. I recognize that everyone has an opinion, but if people do not like my suggestions, they should vote for kill, instead of hiding behind the spam vote in an effort to quell contrary opinions.

You obviously don't understand the point of spam, it's to keep the ridiculous, useless, humorous, and overpowered crap out. This is three of those four things and as such it going into the suggestions archived areas is actively wasting everyone's time who is involved in the suggestions process. And yes, it is humorous, in what world is throwing paint at someone not humorous? Are we gonna suggest having pillow fight headshots next? Maybe karaoke, oh wait. . . --Karekmaps?! 15:53, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
You've obviously completely missed the point in my proposal. Just because you find my idea funny, doesn't make it so. I can see, even now, that I will gain nothing by arguing with you, and so I wont waste my time. Magnum Odus 15:58, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
Obviously, that's why you felt the need to get the last word in and spam my talk page. FYI, People don't mark people with paint, it never happens.--Karekmaps?! 16:23, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

Obviously someone doesn't know jack shit about PETA.--Karekmaps?! 17:41, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
Actually, PETA has thrown paint on people wearing furs. So, I guess it IS obvious that someone doesn't know jack shit about PETA.  Billy Club Thorton  T!  RR  17:56, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
A few psychos are in no way representative of a group, even among wacko enviromentalists incidents like the ones you're alking about are rare. I can think of another group that marked people, I can think of quite a few actually(not with paint) but, the PETA paint thing is symbolic, there's a reason for paint, there's a reason it's red. This is just randomly splashing paint on people, no symbolism, no meaning, no connection to PETA.--Karekmaps?! 18:11, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
If that's the case, there are more than enough psychos in PETA to make it certifiable. They have their own terrorist splinter group. Magnum Odus 21:16, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
Sorry. You can't remove them. You could...But that'll earn you a spot on A/VB. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 15:55, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
Thank you. I can see why it would be a problem. I am just worried that cliques can vote SPAM to get rid of ideas that they personally don't like. Magnum Odus 15:58, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
Well...You should be happy I didn't spam you to oblivion. Me voting Kill is very, very, very rare. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 16:26, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
I am very grateful for that. Thank you. Magnum Odus 16:28, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
