Suggestion talk:20080210 Mass Add Contacts

I can't see any reason to object to this as you need to already have the ID number to add the contacts, therefore nulling any zombie anonymity concerns. I'm just having a hard time picturing the benefit, or it being something that I would personally use, and am thus abstaining. --Ms.Panes 23:20, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
I like the basis idea, but this implementation stinks. How about being able to add all members of a given group?

- Yeah, zombie groups would be to easy a target for mass adding. Without group ownership / membership restrictions, I guess it wouldn't work. Maybe groups could also be revised to provide some membership restriction, though that goes beyond this suggestions scope.

It occurs to me that the implementation mentioned in the actual suggestion would be fairly easy to do as a bookmarklet; I'll see what I can cook up, as I imagine it WOULD be useful. Swiers 21:04, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
