Suggestion talk:20080318 Walking the (Elevated) Railways
From The Urban Dead Wiki
Can you keep it shorter next time? The amount of text doesn't add to quality, but makes reading the suggestion awful waste of time --~~~~ [talk] 20:33, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

- Kill - I See ninja zombie hordes popping out of a railway station. No thanks. Zombies don't need free running. - Headshot Hal Talk 19:40, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
- RE: I understand your concern, but all it takes is 1 survivor travelling the railways to see them, then go off and sound the alarms, so in a way, they don't really break the ninja rule. As for the Free Running thing, I plan to discuss (if this passes voting) the questions of platforms being cadable, and to what extent. If you're afraid of this being an easy pass, you can weigh in on cade mechanics to prevent "Zombie Free Running".--Kolechovski 19:56, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
- Re:re Or you could complete your suggestion before submitting it for voting. Don't ask voters to do your heavy lifting for you. That's what Talk:Suggestions is for. As an incomplete suggestion, this really deserves a spam vote, but I'll leave it here for now.- Headshot Hal Talk 20:28, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
- RE: I don't see this as incomplete. The whole finished thing would be so huge it really needs to be worked on section by section, to take into consideration all of those nitty-gritty mechanics. Much like the game already is. There's no one single suggestion that covers everything. Each suggestion made covers one topic, one part of the game. This is the same. This is a basic one for the use of the railway. Others to complete the system would be about seperate components, such as the platforms, appearances from the streets, detection methods of lifeforms, etc. Those should certainly be discussed one at a time as mechanics that tie in with the main suggestion. Besides, can you imagine that with something this big. completely new, and complicated, tryign to suggest EVERYTHING that in any way could relate to it, all at once? People don't have the kind of time to read a novel! And that would be tough to understand something that big all at once...--Kolechovski 20:38, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
- Whether or not you think it's too complicated for us little old voters to understand all at once, the bottom line is that this is an incomplete suggestion. And it's unnecessary and it would certainly spawn ninja zombie hordes. While for some reason I really like to type ninja zombie hordes, I wouldn't like to see them in Malton. ninja zombie hordes - Headshot Hal Talk 20:55, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
- Read my reply to Mr. Spam voter #1. I feel this is a complete suggestion. If it isn't, quite a few things could reasonably be pulled from suggestion archives as "incomplete". And I still don't get HOW this makes ninja zombie hordes. I need details on how that's supposedly broken in that aspect!--Kolechovski 21:05, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
- Ninja Zombie Hordes. It's better when you bold it. If it makes you feel any better, had I voted on those suggestions in the archive, I would have spammed them for being incomplete. Also, if this suggestion is that much like those, maybe it's an unnecessary, incomplete, ninja zombie horde spawning DUPE and must die on several levels. - Headshot Hal Talk 21:15, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
