DNA Extraction Flavour

Timestamp: 17:55, 23 July 2006 (BST)
Type: Yummy Flavour
Scope: DNA Extraction
Description: You know when you revive a zombie you get the message: "Following standard procedures, you press the syringe into the back of the zombie's neck and pump the glittering serum into its brain and spinal cord. There is a thin pneumatic hiss, and the zombie staggers forward, limbs shuddering, before slumping to the floor as if dead. The zombie's skin shivers for a moment, and the contents of the syringe begin their slow, molecular work."

I think that when you extract DNA from a zombie, you should get a similar message, something like: "Following standard procedures, you press the reader of your DNA Extractor into the back of the zombie's neck and press the execute button."
If the scan is successful then the following piece of text follow the above passage: "A small green light blinks on and the following information appears on the display: Name etc."
If the scan failed: "A red light blinks on and a small beep is emitted, maybe you should try again?"

  8. Keep - I would propose that on failure it does indicate that the brain is damaged, instead of just suggesting a retry. And Gage, I like my flavour just fine. You yanks need to learn the language.--Burgan 20:25, 23 July 2006 (BST)
  9. Keep - I'm all for flavor. Last I checked, we won the war, so we get to choose the spelling when we write the history. --Arcos 21:46, 23 July 2006 (BST)
    • Re - Technically, Americans speak English yeah? So why not use our spellings of things? Actually, why do we have different spellings in the first place? -- Krazy Monkey W! 22:08, 23 July 2006 (BST)
  10. Keep - Good idea. The alternet spellings come from a ocean and Americans being lazy Americans. But our spellings are correct because we have more guns. -- 343 U! 22:54, 23 July 2006 (BST)
