Sword of Justice is a Santlerville based survivor group, with some agents in Fort Creedy and Oakville. The group strives to quell the tide of zombies, aid any survivors in need, and bring justice to the murderers loose in the city.

HOW THE SOJ CAME TO BE: In the beginning, three strangers to the realm of Santlerville (and the empire of Malton all together), found themselves somewhat established within the Cotterrell Crescent Police Dept (78, 22). The three, or the Sword of Justice as they would later become known as, were stricken with hard times. Struck down by murderers and zombies alike and with good help hard to find, the three would soon be brought together by a battle of epic proportions. The setting: St. Columbanus’s Hospital (74, 24) at sunset.
Ryan had been out scouting the area and avoiding the masses of zombies for the majority of the afternoon. Using St. Columbanus’s as a safe point, Ryan was hoping to seek refuge if ever needed. As the sun began to set, Ryan hastily made his way from the Anthony Building (77, 27) back to St. Columbanus’s only to find that someone had very heavily barricaded the hospital. There was no way in and Ryan was nearly exhausted. No zombies could be seen from street level but that’s not to say he would be safe for long; he needed help and fast…
Back at Cotterrell Crescent PD, Eric Morrison and Ray Cross were about to settle in for the night when a distress call came over Eric’s radio…” I am survivor Ryan Wiseman! I am stranded out side…~~zziuurr sshhckk~~…hospital! I repeat, I am stranded outside St. Colubanus’s hospital! I am in dire need of aid and I can hear groans off in the far distance!” At this the transmission ended.
Ray reached for his four, fully loaded shot guns and four pistols. As he snapped in his last clip he looked to the window and saw a flair off in the south west direction. He knew they wouldn’t have much time.
Eric was quickly tossing all of his first-aid kits into his bag and picked up his guns. He too, noticed the flair and without another thought, began to “free-run” through Club Birch (77, 22), to Thicke Towers (76, 22) and then a final dash to the hospital. Eric and Ray rounded the corner only to find a horde of zombies lurching their way towards their new acquaintance.
It all happened so quickly; almost within a blink of an eye. Guns were blazing, and axes slashing and hacking. Ryan’s ax only stood valiantly for a short bit. Eric was the first to run out of ammunition. Eric and Ray were able to make their way to Ryan. Eric tried desperately to stop the bleeding, under the cover of Ray’s shotguns, but he could not and knew his friend had been taken. One of the many abominations slipped past Ray’s roaring wall of ammunition and began ripping and bighting at Eric’s flesh. Fortunately he was able to escape. Ray would not abandon his comrade. Soon Ray was exausted and out of ammo. The inevitable soon consumed him and he was dead.
Each were both impressed and inspired by the others actions. An unbreakable bond was fashioned and so was formed the Sword of Justice.
