Why a BRRC Archive Page and Why Me

Thank you, Jack, for taking the time to help me maintain and update the wiki.

I admit, it's certainly an unusual position I find myself in. But looking at the BRRC front page this is something that needs to move forward. Despite their current level involvement playing the game, their wiki page remains very important because of the community they serve within it, even if there aren't any BRRC active enough to take it upon themselves. With Chimera7 joining the BRRC, some levels of this will be addressed. She has her forums (which were necessary given the state of the forums the BRRC previously maintained), but anything with the wiki will almost certainly fall to me. I do this as a favor to her, but ultimately it is in service to the BRRC despite our rather checkered history but in keeping with our currently friendly relationship. Those members of the BRRC who feel so moved should undo, or redo whatever attempts to improve their page I have undertaken. I would recommend they speak with Chimera7 about this first, given the degree of her involvement relative to their own. Below I will lay out the formatting to move the old elements of the Dicussion page to this one. This will follow the formatting of the article to which this discussion page is attached. Again, I'm not going to begin moving anything until I get IAmDracula's blessing. So perhaps this is all for nothing.--Jack's Cold Sweat 07:38, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

Given the low volume of actual traffic, I would advocate moving all events a full 12 months old or older to the article archive page and the same for discussions. To rephrase, everything less than 12 months old, or a currently in play conversation should remain in place. As traffic picks up, should this ever happen, events older than 6 months should move to the archives, but the BRRC talk page should probably stick with the 12 month time table unless it becomes crowded or unwieldy.--Jack's Cold Sweat 07:38, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

Chimmy apparently disagrees with my prespective on this, so all the old stuff is in the archives. She gonna do what she gonna do. I'd like to clean it up eventually, perhaps correct all the spelling mistakes for posterity that sort of thing. No reason it shouldn't look nice, particularly since my name is associated with so much of the changes.--Jack's Cold Sweat 01:05, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
