Responses to the Proposed Plan

I have proposed that Curton Mansion remain a revive point, but on the EXTERIOR rather than the interior. I know that the interior of the mansion has historically served as the revive point, but what sense does that make? My reason for keeping Curton Mansion at VSB is that the recently-revived survivors will have a place to go that is safe and connects (through free running) to other resource buildings or safe houses that are currently at EHB. -Mister E

See What sense it makes. There are other buildings designated as VSB buildings. If they are not at VSB, then perhaps you should go lower the barricades there. --PdeqTalk* 21:33, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

I like it. I would add a couple more VS points near resourse buildings, specifically St. Timothy's Church (64,9) and the junkyard at (68,8). This provides more protection against inevitable overbarricading and gives low-xp survivors places to stay other than the resource buildings. -SJC Cato, BOW

Thanks Cato, I'm beginning to notice how much overbarricading occurs in this suburb, which is unfortunate since we seem to have a large low level population. I think my next project will be "Community Awareness", if I can manage that! Anyway I've moved the 2 buildings you pointed out to VSB, and added an RP at Parrott Plaza. -Thegg 13:36, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
    • I see that you've already placed the NE section of Rhodges stadium as VS which is all that i wanted to point out; apart from that its a good plan for the moment.. Me101 00:33, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
Yep, that's how I found Rodges on my scouting, so that's how I left it. Makes sense anyway, Rodges is pretty isolated so it needs an entryway. -Thegg 12:05, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
I don't know- having an entry point in a large building seems less good- i mean if one parts weaker at VS zombies can break that down then have access to the whole building- like malls. Chancelwood seems pretty quiet but still there was a zombie break-in last night and someone died because the zombie broke in at a different part of the stadium and moved into the SW section where we were holdimg our #5 Destination. Anyway its just a suggestion but theres alreeady an entry point on the outside of the stadium. --MarieThe Grove on Tour 10:26, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

I agree as far as having an entry point only on the outside of the Stadium. It is just too easy for the zombies to get in and have a big meal. The Goodwin Motel would be a perfect entry point. Coopercat, [BOW] 18 February 2007 (UTC)

Sounds Great. Saw you joined up at our forums- looks like you have a great thing going on in your suburbs :) If you guys ever want anything while we're in town we'll try our best to help out, its a pretty loose tour too, did meet MTI but it never really got off the ground. --MarieThe Grove on Tour 15:59, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
Fair enough. I'll update the Barricade Plan so the the Stadium is all EHB. Regards, Thegg 12:29, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Why are there so many buildings with no barricades? What is the point of those? --Pdeq 16:42, 13 August 2007 (BST)

Does anyone plan on making any updates to this barricade plan? I see that there has been little talk about it since 2007. Malton Underground would like to propose changes to this plan and would like to receive input on them. In addition, is there a person or group who considers themselves responsible for such plan? As a side note, the proposed changes so far are that Wily's Auto Repair should be at EHB because people like to use it for a safehouse and is sometimes lit because people search for resources there. The Roadnight building or Tame Way School seem more appropriate for a VSB building in that area. Primarily, however, we would like to reduce the barricades at the junkyard(64,7) because we are using it as an aid center for low-level players who cannot get into hospitals. If the barricade plan is not changed to reflect this, we will continue to do it anyways, however, since the need for it is due to over-barricading in the hospitals, which should be VSB themselves. --Destroyerofminds 00:14, 30 March 2010 (BST)

Doesn't look like many changes are being discussed here, if at all, but I'd like to establish the junkyard(68,8) as an EHB building. Mostly because I've got a human named Red G. Sanford and need a good junkyard to serve as Sanford and Son Salvage. This one has served me well for the past couple of weeks, and I think I'd like to keep it. -- Kelvesh 03:44, 29 December 2010 (UTC)
