I think you're doing a great job with these, and I don't want to tinker with them. I see problems with this one:

  • The map name has a typo, "Darkerstown."
  • The external link is to Brooke Hills.
  • It seems silly to say there are an unknown number of known groups. If they're known, we know them. If not, it should be "none."
  • Suburb to the east is Jensentown.

Again, I would normally just fix this stuff, but I don't want to mess with an area I couldn't do better. Great job! --otherlleft 04:02, 15 Sep 2005 (BST)

Hey Other, thanks for pointing out the mistakes :p Overall it's very easy to edit the information that is in the template, so you shouldn't be afraid of tinkering with it. it's the template itself that is a pain in the butt and easy to mess up, but you can't do that (easily) by editing the info on just this page. I think I can speak for all of us who have worked on this template, thanks for the compliment ;) -- GIR 04:16, 15 Sep 2005 (BST)

That's really what I meant . . . I know you've been working on the template all night and I didn't want to monkey around with any of them until you finished up the hard stuff! --otherlleft 04:20, 15 Sep 2005 (BST)

Imperialists, what you are doing could be considered as vandalism. The other groups ARE there, you are not allowed to remove them from this page. You are also not allowed to remove news entries made by others. Lastly, this suburb is a ghost town, no matter what you say. I've scouted it all, there is only a few of you and in a few buildings, the rest of the buildings are empty, no 'cades, and ransacked. Don't break the wiki rules. -Certified=InsaneUG 20:58, 27 September 2006 (BST)

You are blind.--Duce Nauks 00:06, 28 September 2006 (BST)

I'm serious. You will be reported if you keep this up. -Certified=InsaneUG 22:01, 30 September 2006 (BST)
By writing the recent entry, I've done nothing wrong. Besides, there are no other groups established in Dakerstown. Sure there are other members there. We have frirends in the suburb. Our troops are also in other suburbs, but that doesn't mean our group is there. I'm assuming your a reletively new person for not knowing this basic, rudementary info.--Duce Nauks 03:41, 1 October 2006 (BST)
No UG member who were alive before this died. You are voluntarly spreading lies to promote your group. This is unacceptable behavior. -Certified=InsaneUG 04:10, 1 October 2006 (BST)
I have edited the september 29th entry, to make it more accurate, both your and my entries to it. We did indeed get casualties (I took "I have been attacked" for "I have been damaged", and not "killed"), but 1 casualty is not a high percentage. -Certified=InsaneUG 01:10, 6 October 2006 (BST)

No man. I know one isn't much. But you only had one guy in the suburb. Thats a 100% kill ratio.--Duce Nauks 01:31, 6 October 2006 (BST)

Actually, no. My own guy was in the suburb at the time, and he didn't get a scratch (and he was wearing the group tag). A few others were too, if I read the reports correctly, and the rest at the borders. If you can freewalk within a region and have plenty of APs to do what you wish, you can still excerce influence there. -Certified=InsaneUG 17:22, 6 October 2006 (BST)
And I repeat, my own character was in the suburb, didn't suffer a scratch. That also means that you did not kill "all invaders in the suburb". -Certified=InsaneUG 17:24, 6 October 2006 (BST)
Out of curiosity, who are you trying to convince extactly. Of course, we could notice Communism is weak. True strenght, is in Fascism in the building you were sleeping in before you got executed (that is, the first time we executed you yesterday, not the second). We all know how fascists love freedom... -Certified=InsaneUG 16:17, 7 October 2006 (BST)

Which is much more than communists can say. And assasinated? You didn't kill one single person. If you take your grouptag off like a coward, that nullifies all kills, as they are no longer any part of your group. Besides, we're winning anyway, not one of your men is still in the suburb.--Duce Nauks 16:37, 7 October 2006 (BST)

How about, the second time you got executed. Yes, I was wearing the tag when I put lead in your head. And you still don't get it. It doesn't matter where you stay while inactive, it's what you do with your APs. And besides, last time you said that my char was in the suburb. As for nullifying the kill... If that makes you sleep at night, believe it if you want. The kill was made by us, both of them, no matter what you say or think. And the day before, I myself shot two of your members, you even used them to spread propaganda. You aren't gonna retract that now I hope? -Certified=InsaneUG 16:54, 7 October 2006 (BST)

They were Heros, shot in the back by a coward. The fact is plain and simple. You are Sad my friend. Very, very, sad. Like a tiny, little, thing you are. As for executed? I laugh at you. You use the word very lightly. Shooting a wounded person in the back is not executing. What I've been constantly doing to your men, is executing.--Duce Nauks 18:37, 7 October 2006 (BST)

And the fact is that you, after being so awesomely disgraced by Taco, who mind you, isn't even an IWM member, went and made a little picture (Wich supports us if anything, so in essance you fail) in an angry haze. You need to get a life man. I actually consider using that picture in some of my stuff. Thanks to the both of you, Taco for making me laugh so hard, and scrapped for making an embarrasment of your self to our benefit.--Duce Nauks 01:13, 13 October 2006 (BST)

We're just people playing a game. Seriously, man. And if you don't think you're taking it too seriously, just look. You've gotten yourself banned twice just because you wanted to prove a point (Which you failed at, by the way). And I know this discussion is going to go on, and on, and on, because we're very, very, childish. Look at us, UG and IWM. Now at this point, you'll respond and go "You're the childish ones, we're just doing what's right", and it'll go into a discussion of even MORE colons. It'll get to the point where one letter'll take up a line. But I really don't think a hissy fit constitutes as news. So we can either grow up, or continue to throw sand at each other in the play ground. --| scrapped | 01:25, 13 October 2006 (BST)

Listen, I don't care what you call me, Like I said before, this is THE INTERNET, Where Nothing Matters, and everything is bullshit! Everything. What you say, what I say, what that fuckin taco guy says, It doesn't matter. All that matters is stepping away from the Keyboard with your "E-Penis" feeling ten inches longer. October 12th

Well, we've put our info together in a number crunch, and in the past 24 hours we've killed 4 enemie soldiers, and revived 9 civillians. The reason that 4 is a great number . . . They only have 7 people. That's over 50%. We didn't count Scrapped, as we found him dead already. Probably killed by a loyal citizen who doesn't want the Tyranny Communists are trying to bring to Dakerstown. Add on to the fact that there aren't even any "Urban Guerillas" in Dakerstown (Except for maybe a dead one . . . scrapped), There is no doubt that we are winning this battle with ease. It's so pathetic on they're part it's barely funny. But funny none the less. The IWM is highly advising people try to avoid staying in Dakerstown, Roywood, or Jensentown. From the reports, things are starting to get bad in these areas.--Taco Death 19:47, 12 October 2006 (BST)

Multiple Urban Guerillas were strung up today by Imperial Soldiers. With Weakening influence, one can only wonder how long a group so tasteless will last.--Taco Death 20:35, 11 October 2006 (BST)

Until the appearance of the Urban Guerillas Dakerstown had a functioning revive point at Leeworthy Park [6,8], strategically located near the only NecroTech building in the Suburb, the Pask Building [7.8], with a fallback NecroTech location in nearby Roywood [8,10]. Since efforts had to be redirected to self-defense instead of revivals the wait time for at Leeworthy Park has markedly increased. The Imperial War Machine strongly encourages any survivors who do find themselves in the area to assist in continuing the interrupted stream of revivals. At the present time both Necrotech buildings are secured, DNA extractions are highly recommended as there are still rotters clogging up the revive point. --Mr plissken 00:05, 12 October 2006 (BST)

A "lynch mob", if you can call it that, has been seen around Dakerstown. It consists of zombies, not at all normally affiliated, revolting against the IWM due to them realizing they are being attacked and targeted mainly by them. This group has also been targeting non-Imperialist members who hang out by areas with the Imperial War Machine Logo, so beware: If you are by a logo, we suggest you immediately leave the building, or spraypaint over it. --| scrapped | 00:48, 12 October 2006 (BST)

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Oh my god! Thats the funniest thing I've ever heard. Seeing as how the IWM doesn't even normally target zeds, that's obviously a comedy act. ROFLMAO. God!, Oh dear, I was lauging so hard when I read what scrapped said, my eyes started to water. Oh well, I guess it was a nice try by scrapped.--Taco Death 19:41, 12 October 2006 (BST)

October 10th

Survivors have been spotted moving into the suburb of Dakerstown. There has been an increasing zombie movement in the area of Dakerstown and individual survivors are begining to fortify human positions in Dakerstown, The Imperial War Machine (IWM) does claim to mainatin a base in Dakerstown. Though due to the lack of radio and telephone , medical , police , and necrotech services in Dakerstown things are still quite difficult .

Though sightings of an organized horde moving around the area have yet to be confirmed; there have been sightings of Zombies which are suspected to be scouting out the area in preperation fpr a larger zombie invassion .The Monkey Wrench Gang are alledgedly moving into the suburb to uproot any IWM forces they encounter. The Monkey Wrench Gang has accused the IWM of spreading false information about the Monkey Wrench Gang (MWG), and pking members of the Monkey Wrench Gang. There are also Pkers moving into the Suburb which is highly unusual due to Pkers usually moving into safe neighboorhoods to conduct their controversial attacks. The Swearse Police Station Is Functional with a Generator in an attempt to secure weapons to fight the Zombies which are suspected to be making a refuge in Dakerstown.Captain Rickety

October 10th Communique from the Urban Guerillas

Though the suburb's state is deteriorating, for the first time in a long time the IWM's grasp on the suburb is minor, and that for us is a great victory. Yes, we aknowledge living here is more dangerous than when we arrived, but remember that it still was dangerous. A whole suburb being dangerous because of the stubborness of one group in unacceptable in our eyes. That is why we see this as a minor price to driving off the imperialists. However, we do realise we have inderectly caused some harm, which is why we bring you with this proposition: Once our scout reports indicate there are no living imperialists in the suburb, we shall begin re-construction. So if you do not want to participate in armed conflict, I suggest pacific resistance: refusing to revive, heal, and protect imperialists. It should speed up the process, for Dakerstown's sake. Victory is achievable this time, the IWM can become a thing of the past. Citizens, unite your efforts and you shall prevail! -Certified=InsaneUG 21:01, 10 October 2006 (BST)

October 9th

Small troop movements have been reported in the Suvivor V.S. Survivor conflict between the Imperial War Machine and the Urban Gueriilas . Zombies are also starting to accumulate in the area due to the lack of survivors spending AP to kill zombies . There has been an increase in the appearance of feral zombies wandering the area . Three large zombie hordes have been spotted moving on the borders of Darkerston . All survivors are advised not to spend the night in Darkerstown . The Phone Mast in Dakerstown is curently not operational and will probably stay that way until the violence in Dakerstown settles down .The hospital in Dakerstown is also not in use due to the high risk of zombies . The Necrotech facility in Dakerstown is still inoperative and will likely be so until the conflict between the Urban Guerillas and the Imperial War Machine is resolved . On a related topic: the Urban Guerillas have stepped up their patrols in Dakerstown , though the Imperial War Machine (IWM) forces have remained elusive so far in the conflict. The Urban Guerillas and the Imperial War Machine both represent somewhat questionable ideologies- Socialism and Anti Facism versus Facism and Anti Commusism . While the outcome of the conflict is debatable. The fact is that Dakerstown is becoming more dangerous as the Zed movements through Dakerstown become more frequent and many Zombies can spend days alone in dakerstown without any fear of falling victim to a Headshot. All survivors are strongly advised not to spend the night in Dakerstown -Captain Rickety

The Urban Guerillas aknowledge that this conflict is deteriorating the state of the suburb, but shall continue the operation, as it was in a pitiful state to begin with and the grasp the IWM has held on it to this point has only helped in keeping in that way. We believe this suburb must be open to cooperation to be able to thrive, something that was impossible with the previous regime. All survivors are strongly advised to reside elsewhere for the moment, and not spend efforts on maintaining the place. The IWM has sabotaged the suburb in their past wars, and all attemps to rebuild will fail. -Certified=InsaneUG 21:15, 9 October 2006 (BST)
Oops, the above is propaganda, and untrue, just like the warning says. The only reason there are survivors in dakerstown is because the IWM has been generous enough to revive half of the zombies. But due to communist efforts to destroy Dakerstown, we advise civillians to look for revives elsewhere. The revive point the IWM has kept open throughout the ages will be put on the back burner untill the communists admit thier already happening defeat.--Duce Nauks 22:22, 9 October 2006 (BST)

October 8th

Well, It seems that all the Cowardly commies have fled the suburb in fear. Now it's time to go back to helping the people and the wounded. It's a damn shame that the commies tried to stop us from doing so. There's always a few zombies with nasty rot spilling from thier heads, isn't there? But we're not going to stop. Because we are the voice of the people. We ARE the people. Just because the infected want to murder the innocent, isn't going to intimidate us with such filth. For we have honor, and we think Dakerstown should too. Join The Empire, and fight for justice, and liberty, against those who seek to take it away.--Duce Nauks 16:24, 8 October 2006 (BST)

In the dark and humid morning, a zombie still walked. He had lived, and he planned on continuing to live. He entered a building where the door had been left open, and sook shelter inside. Stumbling on the floor, he pulled a book out. After flipping to a random page, he read in his mind, silently:

In communist society, where nobody has one exclusive sphere of activity but each can become accomplished in any branch he wishes, society regulates the general production and thus makes it possible for me to do one thing today and another tomorrow, to hunt in the morning, fish in the afternoon, rear cattle in the evening, criticise after dinner, just as I have a mind, without ever becoming hunter, fisherman, herdsman or critic.

Containing this new philosophy, he walked out of the room, and listened. He heard nothing. But he noticed a disgusting logo, spraypainted on the wall. He thought to himself.

I see... a marking. And those men, over there, are wearing that marking. But if that marking is so called absolute good, why do they destroy property, as in spraypainting houses and buildings? If what I read is true, then there is deep meaning. These men, wearing this black and white symbol, believe in seperation of the public by social class. I am left with no choice.

The zombie plopped himself on the floor, hoping the sleeping soldiers wouldn't find him. But then he saw. They were dead. He walked over to one of the dead bodies, and wrote a phrase in their blood. Not one that was just his own, but one of many. In partaking in the writing of this strange alphabet on the wall, he felt as if he was being watched upon by a greater force.

Aww, how touching. You'd get an A, if you were in pansy poetry class. Is that the best you can do? Telling a fictional story about how a zombie reads a book then wipes his blood of on some guy?--Duce Nauks 16:25, 8 October 2006 (BST)

The Urban Guerillas continue their executions, though the kill count was lower today due to the fact we had a harder time finding the hiding imperialists than yesterday. We are, however, still quite active in the suburb and shall continue to be for a while.

In a cowardly move, the Communists not only removed thier group name from thier profile, but attacked a medical team aiding reviving survivors. Hakha and Jones were giving medical aid and food to people and families that needed it. Then, they were killed for it. This shows what kind of people the Communist are. They kill medics, and scientists who were helping to heal those who asked for it. This has many possible reasons behind it; Jelousy? Embarrasment? Do they hate Justice and freedom this much? Or mabey, the fact that they hate all that is not enslaved and corrupted? I will let thier actions speak for themselves.19:37, 6 October 2006 (BST)

Remember our heros.jpg
One thing is sure though. We must all remember the brave Freedom Fighters lost that day. Remember those Heros.--Duce Nauks 19:42, 6 October 2006 (BST)

For being attacked when they had no hostile intentions, the Urban Guerillas are retaliating against every member of the imperialist faction that uses censorship and brute force to keep it's grasp upon the suburb. This suburb will be free, for all. Proof -Certified=InsaneUG 22:18, 6 October 2006 (BST)

Again they claim freedom. But the freedom they want means death of all free life. They want the peolpe to be free of thought, they want to think for the people. Which is why they kill innocent people and medical staff, in a pathetic attemp to quell the yearning for justice.--Duce Nauks 22:42, 6 October 2006 (BST)

Yes, we want to rid people of such freedoms! Imperialists shall all be killed, no matter how they started their careers. The restwill remain untouched. -Certified=InsaneUG 00:14, 7 October 2006 (BST)

Which is exactly what this man said, Stalin.jpg while he was secretly killing thousands of innocent people for believing in freedom and justice. Is this what the people of Dakerstown deserve? The Freedom Fighters protecting the freedoms, and justice of Dakerstown citizens think it's not. We think they deserve better. We think they deserve that of people like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, and all those who advocate free will, and The right to pursue Life, Liberty, and Happiness. The communists say we're evil for that. Or is it, the other way around? Unlike the communists who kill people for wanting free will and choice; Unlike the communists who only give the people thier belief, or death; We give them thier own will to chose who they want, who they think stands for freedom, and helps those in need. Unlike the terroristic communists, we care about the good of Free Peoples everywhere.--Duce Nauks 01:51, 7 October 2006 (BST)

Well Done

I would personally like to thank the 2 warring factions for using this SUBURB PAGE for carrying out a bitch-fest and acting like petulant children. You have prevented anyone from editing this page now and you are causing issues that are not for the wiki. I suggesr you either take up Conndraka's offer of Arbitration so these issues can be sorted out in a civil fashion. I'm trying to make all the Suburb pages so they are easy to read for new people so they can get an idea of the suburb. I understand people can have issues but if you bring them to the wiki you cause issues for everyone like not being able to edit a page. Thanks for reading and I hope you both can sort it as soon as possible. Pillsy FT 15:40, 14 October 2006 (BST)

I'm not sure how to change that to keep it in NPOV, but we don't claim victory, not yet atleast. We want them to disband, something that obviously is not done yet. -Certified=InsaneQuébécois 21:44, 19 October 2006 (BST)

How to retake Darkerstown

Three simple steps to make Dakerstown a safe place for all

  1. Have no warring factions present and cooperation between all of the locals.
  2. EHB Every building in the suburb for about a week.
  3. Set up a barricade plan and enforce it, without lowering any barricades for another week, to isntead focus on re-barricading damaged ones.

And with that, we get a happy peaceful suburb ;) -Certified=InsaneQuébécois 01:20, 17 October 2006 (BST)

...And you could send a big group to jump on the two faction's heads. Jobs a' goodun! --Grant Page 17:31, 17 October 2006 (BST)

That qualifies for the first criteria ;) If some important group wants to take up the task, as long as the IWM are taught a lesson and the group is pro-survivor we are willing to let them shape up the suburb as they see fit. -Certified=InsaneQuébécois 01:08, 18 October 2006 (BST)

Looking at this, one really cannot come to any other conclusion than this: The IWM is a PKer group dedicated to killing nothing but other survivors... And I thought they were trying to hide that fact. ;) -Certified=InsaneQuébécois 00:29, 19 October 2006 (BST)

Now, I don't know why people have a tendency to change it, but could someone please explain to me while people change the status from Ghost Town, when that is exactly what it is... -Certified=InsaneQuébécois 19:38, 22 October 2006 (BST)

I wasn't the one who changed it, but now that you mention it, personally, I don't think that it is a GhostTown anymore. I would change it to Green though. My point being, I have been barricaded into a four building section with one survivor for over a week now, and we havn't had any break-ins. True, there are almost no survivors here, but one or two survivors with the barricade skill can easily survive here if they are even moderately coordinated. In any case, I'm not changing the status, just my thoughts.Carlo Chaimo 17:45, 23 October 2006 (BST)
I'll trust you on this, since lately I've been forced to operate in Roywood as the IWM don't seem to appreciate cuddling up togerther as much (though I'm happy to see the same ones always doing it anyways, makes it easier for us). I'll Return to Dakerstown soon enough though, to personally evaluate what's the situation there (buildings, barricades, zombies, survivors, IWM members, allies, etc.). I'll update the status then... -Certified=InsaneQuébécois 23:13, 23 October 2006 (BST)
Actually, there's barely any barricades at all in the city. And barely any surviors, that aren't hiding, too. --| scrapped | 23:37, 23 October 2006 (BST)
Okay, well barricades last a little bit (You can HB 3 buildings, and only 1 of them will be ransacked the next day), and there seems to be more and more survivors. The status remains, for now. This is probably the best state the suburb has been in for a while. Continue to HB every building and the zombies should shamble off... -Certified=InsaneQuébécois 22:37, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
Carlo, there's only a few of yours, and a few of ours, in the suburb. Total population of Dakerstown since the IWM have went zombie and are killing anyone is 10 or under, so back to ghost town this goes. -Certified=InsaneQuébécois 20:54, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
Agreed. The suburb is quite forlorn right now, and seems to have slipped into the Ghost town status.Carlo Chaimo 00:00, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
Oh, and a few MWG apparently, just got radio messages from them, but still, remains Ghost Town. -Certified=InsaneQuébécois 00:30, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

UG Notice

We would like to advise that no one should revive the individuals mentionned below. The only one that has been spotted in the last few days is their leader, Duce Nauks, and they have become a rather pathetic fighting force. We request that everyone help end this rediculous conflict but killing IWM members on sight and refusing to heal and revive them, so that we may focus our forces to barricading and maybe even start a revive point in Dakerstown. Thank you for all cooperation. -Certified=InsaneQuébécois 01:51, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

The IWM continue to attack survivors

The graffiti on the wall is soo appropriate here... gave me a good laugh. -Certified=InsaneQuébécois 20:25, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

At this point, very few survivors can be seen around Dakerstown. It's status seems to indicate it once again deserves the "Ghost Town" title.

Same old thing. Zombie break-ins are frequent, though not strong (only one or two zombies leak inside), average barricade level is low, revive system is unoperational. Survivors are encouraged to settle in to make it a safer place, as most buildings can now be held for more than one day. The conflict between the Urban Guerillas and the IWM is now mainly is Judgewood.

Many zombies have gathered at Dakerstown's cemetary, probably hoping for a revive. People with the syringes are encouraged to do so, as standing at inoperative revive points is typical behavior of people who desire to stay in the region, and therefore they could later contribute to help Dakerstown. Also, Petvin Place is being considered as a possible future revive point.
