Revive points in Darvall Heights

For a revives in Darvall Heights, it is best to head to Salopia Row (21,29) (a new RP) mostly serviced by The Latrobe Building and the cemetery (24,27) mostly serviced by The Herman Building. --Kung fu cat 19:42, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

There are just too many RPs in Darvall... If any aren't really being service efficiently, those should be removed from the list. --WanYao 19:18, 6 April 2008 (BST)

Barricade plans, nuh??

You don't even have a barricade plan, WTF???? and don't give the line that no one ever follows it, so why bother?... at least it's there as a guideline, a reference. and, actually, i save LOTS of burbs that follow their barricade plans... why wouldn't yours? --WanYao 22:21, 9 August 2007 (BST)

Hm, no cade plan, interesting... i'll get one up soon --~~~~ [talk] 11:13, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

Darvall Heights Barricade Plan. we have a barricade plan. admittedly it should be on the main page. for some reason it isnt. its pretty much always fellowed but now and then you do get overcade's--Kung fu cat 16:49, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

I've placed the barricade plan directly on the main page. --Silisquish 17:06, 11 October 2008 (BST)

I'd suggest to move the Church's achievements in the CotR page, and keep the suburb page with only the danger status. --Seagull Flock 15:08, 2 Nov 2005 (GMT)

Added Caiger Mall Survivors to the list of known groups. Decided to leave La Rvolution, even though theyre part of the CMS.Nathan Bedford Forrest 07:41, 25 Nov 2005 (GMT)

Saw the latest event entry (May 8); isn't Yeandill Towers a revive point? --halomarine34 16:14, 8 May 2006 (BST)

"Caiger Mall continues to be a major survivor stronghold to this day," huh? intooblv 21:03, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

Bonville Drive Revive Point

I wasn't sure if I should put it here or on the news section, but if anyone is finding themselves needing a revive with Caiger down, TechCom still has Bonville Drive opened. --JustinMullins 19:05, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

Revive Points

I heard of the efficient Revive system here and went inside Yeandill Towers. A couple of hours later, I was headshot by level 41 "the cop" and dumped outside, building secured. Five minutes later, I was attacked by a level 2 someone(not named someone).

I am sad. I didn't mean to die! Can't anyone have compassion for this zombie and revive me? Why are these humans so selfish? Are they tempting me to convert to a full time zombie/flesh-eater?

  • I want to add at this stage that we really need to re-think and maintain a new system over at Darvall Heights in regard to the revive points of St Isidore's chruch and Yeandill Towers (which are also next to each other???). The character I run in the region (Thomas Mittelwerk) is there mostly to do revives and heals(freelance and I NEVER combat revive) and mostly I revive people in the graveyard directly NEXT TO both those sites. Now firstly I don't see the point in having indoor non NT revive points next to a graveyard but that aside, I have been respecting them and have revived non-rotters in those points before. However these points are REGULARLY OVERCADED, not just VSB either but overcaded so much they cannot even be used as the vital enterance point to Caiger that they are. Really entrance points further away from that are not good enough and seeing as they are down as revive points they obviously do double as entrance points. You add to that the killing of zeds on those grounds and the fact that a zed is much more likely to be revived in the next door cemetary I would say it is time for a re-think. Regardless of their revive state however we need to keep those sites no more thn VSB so they can used to enter Caiger. My character will most likely die tonight just after reviving someone else at the cemetary simply because of this overcading!
    • To add to this...I'm a little confused here. As a resident of St. Isidore's, I have never, ever known the church itself to be a "revive point" - only as a VSB entrance to the mall. True enough, a lot of revivers sleep and stay at St. Izzy's, but this is only because of it's close proximity to the mall, the NT building, and the cemetary next door. Every reviver I know in the area considers the CEMETERY to be the revive point. And, thus, we work hard to keep the church at VSB and most zombies outside the church are headshot or told to go the cemetary for revives. The idea that the CHURCH and, strangest of all, Yeandill Towers as revives point is completely new to me. Why are these designated as revive points on the wiki when the cemetary is RIGHT THERE, and all cemeteries are considered Sacred Ground across Malton? This logic...it is not Earth Logic, Captain! Evanna 02:46, 19 June 2007 (BST)

Someone who knows which blocks are the genuine RPs should update them. The two listed are clearly NOT being used as RPs. 'arm. 02:26, 10 August 2007 (BST)

Text in the "note" section

This chunk of text:

This is believed to be the reason that Ackland Mall has been named second to last stop by the Mall Tour '06. Naturally, since the increase in both syringe search odds and the powered searches boost, it has become even more of a target for suvivor and zombie alike.

seems pretty out of place for the description of Darvall Heights. Any objections to it being deleted? --Bob Hammero ASSW!U! 21:02, 23 May 2006 (BST)

Hey kids, the church is a revive clinic, there aren't SUPPOSED to be barricades. MaulMachine U! 05:03, 27 May 2006 (BST)

Barricades

I was recently held up in the police station enjoying some good old zombie pickin's when one day I step outside and every building is baricaded so us lower level guys couldn't get in. If there is a plan or something similar can someone post it so the lower level players know what buildings they can get in so they don't end up standing like a zed buffet? Talk about frustrating. Thanks everyone.

problem with people

peopel are killing zeds St. Isidore's Church for exp. i was one of em, i don't want to walk to the friken other 1, i got killed by a zed hunter using head shot so i wasted 15 ap to get up

  • I was just headshot by [Sandradk] at the graveyard next to Isidores while waiting for a revive, despite not being listed on wiki as a rev point, under the sacred ground policy that *is* a revive point and seeing as the two indoor revive points are baracaded to extremely heavy it is the only place to get a revive! I'll make a point of returning the favour some day. Just to warn you Sandradk.

Hope Nobody Minds

My somewhat RP'ish reporting style for the news updates the last few days, I try to make sure the daily updates contain the important information I want to convey as well as a bit of zombie RP flavour. Don't know how long I'll be in Darvall, but I try to use a handful of AP to look around before I start bashing things and killing face! - ZeroTwo, 04 July 2007

Great Suburb Group Massacre 2010

All suburb wiki pages are undergoing a clean up to remove inactive groups from the group listing (see here: this suburb's groups). If you are a group currently listed in this suburb, you will be contacted on your group's talk page within the next few days and asked to reply, indicating that you are active in this suburb. Groups that fail to reply within two weeks of being contacted will automatically be removed from the suburbs where they are listed.

We're posting here in the hopes that more groups will be aware of the clean up and can respond appropriately, since our team does not have the time nor the manpower to seek out every group in-game or track down its group members elsewhere on the wiki. If you know that some groups in your suburb do not check the wiki, please be a good neighbor and let them know that they NEED to check it for this, or else they will be unlisted in the near future.

The wiki members coordinating the cleanup will be using the table below to track their progress in communicating with the various groups. Please do not edit it if you are not involved with The Great Suburb Group Massacre 2010 team.

Non-NPOV news entries removed from the suburb page should be put here for the sake of history.

January 30th

I've grown attached to this 'burb, and just couldn't bring myself to leave just yet. But, another sweep of the city shows that the hoard has already moved on. The hospitals that had zeds milling about now is abandoned. This means that I could sneak in and effect some repairs...once I find some tools. Roberto Tomba 00:05, 30 January 2011 (EST)

January 29th

Once again, I've managed to pass out and wake up with a pulse and everything intact. I wish I could say the same for Darvall Heights. Two days have elapsed since I last took a walk around...and my, how things have changed. The hammer finally fell here, with the zombie hoard obliterating everything. Where signs of life were before, now everything of value is in ruins. I only see one building with lights on...the fools. I'm going to see what I can do to help the few living survivors...then head for points west and south. Roberto Tomba 00:11, 29 January 2011 (EST)

January 25th

The Herman Building is in operation again, and I just spent time barricading it up. I wish I could say the same for its companion Necrotech facility, the Latrobe building. I'm happy to say that Darvall Heights remains a battleground: this means that there are still enough of us to give them a fight. I still keep waiting for the other shoe to drop - for the hoard to come this way in enough force to take us down - but I've just awakened another day with Darvall Heights still in human hands. Roberto Tomba 23:15, 25 January 2011 (EST)

January 24th

I just woke up to find 7 wounded in my building: I never see that many together in the same place. I figured things were getting bad, so I decided to first check out the Mall. The Darvall Heights sections are both in ruins. And, that's not all: Both Necrotech facilities are down. But, wonder of wonders, all the hospitals are in business. It's not a disaster yet, but I wouldn't wager on it staying like this for long. Roberto Tomba 23:06, 24 January 2011 (EST)

January 20th

I took a stroll outside just now, and it's freakin' freezing! Things looked fairly quiet - not many undead to speak of - until I made it to the Chudleyton side of the Caiger Mall: 37 zeds are just outside the southwest corner. I did what I could to warn the people inside - telling them, as well as broadcasting on the local frequency - so hopefully people can be saved, or ideally reinforce the defenses. Technically, Darvall Heights is still safe - since the huge pack of zombies is just across the border - but it's naive to think it'll stay that way. Roberto Tomba 23:45, 20 January 2011 (EST)

Active Groups

Someone from Cobra has been running around shooting people. Does this make them active in the suburb? Jacks LeRoy (talk) 02:05, 2 November 2018 (UTC)

Not likely, otherwise groups such as Malton Globetrotters, or ENVY would be active in 9/10 suburbs when they run away as much as they do. You could always try to contact Cobra in game, or on their group page. If they indeed are/want to be active Im sure they will have no problem being listed as active in whatever suburb.

Also, remember to sign your posts after your message, otherwise it will get confusing :) - SomethingSomething.gif 06:39, 2 November 2018 (UTC)

I believe it's atypical for groups to be added by someone outside of the group. It's typically a self opt-in process. THE CENTRAL SCRUTINIZER 08:37, 2 November 2018 (UTC)
