January 28th

The suburb is relatively peaceful, much of the intermittent fighting has ceased due to a ceasefire between rival survivor groups. The SOS Brigade are still present in decreasing numbers within the suburb for the time being, as the terms of their surrender allow for. Break ins are happening at a very minor pace and the suburb is largely empty, but safe in the eastern half.. --Captain Rickety 20:21, 28 January 2009 (UTC)

Sections of East Grayside, are habitable. Things seem to be calming down for the time being.

The Wicken Monument is a revive point! Not a shooting gallery. I've seen some bad revive points, but this was the worst by far. It's a revive point, we have a serious problem when you have people raiding revive points left and right.

August 20th East Grayside has found itself under renewed attack by Zombies, much of it due to the MOB. Snakehound has declared that they will not be reside in the suburb in while the MOB are there. FURIG will be focusing on revives for the duration of the MOB's stay in East Grayside, due to Snakehound's leave of abscence, FURIG will provide revives at the Wicklen Monument, until the Angerstein Building becomes untenable. In the event of Angerstein Building's occupation, Gutch Park shall be utilized as our primary revive point. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Captain Rickety (talkcontribs) 21:51, 27 August 2008 (BST).

Suggestion to abandon two Revive Points

Currently East Grayside has 6 listed revive points. This is clearly too many and can lead to confusion for the newly dead wishing to actually be helped and to techs wishing to help out.

We need to remove at least two - preferably three - of these listed RPs from this list and let dedicated techs have an easier job getting to those who need a needle.

I strongly suggest we abandon Prigg Alley [64, 86] and The Bligh Monument [63, 87]. I am not sure who initially chose to put RPs next to PDs, but it seems like a poor choice. These two RPs are not only adjacent to PDs, but are within "wandering" distance of FOUR PDs, total (including one in northern Hollomstown). This leads to an incredibly high number of XP farming of waiting revive-ees by low levels who are unaware, low levels desperate for XPs, and trenchcoats/jerks.

This suggested course of action includes not only removing the locations from this list, but also retagging the locations and possibly even shouting to all Mrh?ing zeds in the area to try another spot.

With the current LUE infatuation with East Grayside, efficient revives are even more important. evilbob 16:53, 23 August 2007 (BST)

Is someone covering the other RP listed? I am hanging out at Baynton Street [66, 83] and a fellow zed that wanted a revive got killed and people are starting to shoot/hack away at me.Steelgaze 08:43, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
UPDATE! I just saved myself the trouble and moved myself to Wicklen Monument. At least someone was kind of enough to spray paint that it is an RP :D See you guys on the living side soon eough.Steelgaze 08:55, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
Whoa, me again, this is getting boring! Seems like my luck at the monument was not very good. First comes Michael Jacker who tries to kill me. I assume he ran out of AP since he stopped hitting me. Then comes littleangel to finish me off. Thanks for following the spray paint :( For anyone that cares, here are sceenshots. http://img297.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ud2vl5.png http://img341.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ud1zj1.png

Barricade Plan, and SIGN YOUR POSTS!

First thing I want to say before anything else . . . START SIGNING YOUR POSTS, PEOPLE. Jeez. Anyway, are we following any sort of barricade plan for this suburb? If not, we can either go with one of the templated plans out there, or I can come up with one in my copious free time. If so, then I suggest we list it so that the groups around here can start following it. I've had some complaints from newbies and zombies alike about this, and I'd like to see it fixed. ~Ohaerisig.pngu t STARS

  • [Added later] I love you, Black Berets. Thankyouthankyouthankyou for the barricade plan. ~Ohaerisig.pngu t STARS

Is Bligh Monument still a revive point?

It seems people keep killing the Z's, in addition to Z's killing the Z's and people aren't being revivified. What's going on? -Cap'n Bob 00:00, 25 April 2006 (BST)

  • SA is now Operating that revive point but only with requests using our revive tool.

25 July, 2006 Rumours that all human forces have evacuated are exaggerated, though their exact numbers are unknown. The Bligh Monument RP reopens (status = Slow).

July 24th, 2006 Remaining human forces have evacuated and rallied at Mellish Fire Station in Scarletwood. However, the zombies have pursued, and forced a further retreat into Gulsonside.

It is believed that PH cultists Ben Deroy and PHerez are responsible for East Greyside zombie uprising, and thus the attacks on Scarletwood and Gulsonside.

July 19th, 2006 Baynton Street revive point seems to be non-functional as well, and is surrounded by large numbers of zombies in all directions -- make retaking this point tactically difficult. North Eastern blocks of East Grayside are teaming with zombies (at least 75) which may be massing for an attack on North West Scarletwood (which claims neutrality). There are still humans fighting in East Grayside now.

Added a page for the Zwanenburg Museum it's not much so I'd appreciate someone to help me with a background story.--Meinstorm 21:13, 19 July 2006 (BST)

Remaining human forces have rallied at the Spear Arms (1 East, 1 South) for 1st aid and a breakout to the east.

Repeated flare shots have been noted 10 blocks east of the Spear Arms.

May 13 There are 13 zombies outside of Adalbert Hospital (NE) with groups of 2-3 in adjacent squares. The hospital was breached yesterday. Barricades are back up so atleast a few survived. Heading back to Scarletwood for a revive and ammo. Cletus88

May 12 The word is now official. With the growing presence of zombies in the vicinity of this area, the Malton Confederacy has now acknowledge a zombie invasion under way. Zed groups participating in this invasion is N/A at this time; however, military units have now began to concentrate in Scarletwood to counter the growing threat of the zeds from the west. All civilians are ordered to evacuate and proceed behind the front lines in Scarletwood and seek refuge with the Republic of Scarletwood. All survivors able to operate any weaponry or with medical experience are encouraged to seek the nearest police department block to learn more. Any MCF units within the Grayside suburbs are ordered to consolidate your positions and await for reinforcements, otherwise retreat to friendly lines if zed horde overruns your positions. The Malton Uprising

Why are they listed as a hostile group? There only hostile to the DEM.Besides, there not a group, there more like an event.--Gamestriker4 19:25, 25 October 2008 (BST)

Despite they're claim to kill only DEM members, they kill people whom they consider DEM affilaiated, a member of FURIG was raped and killed by snakehound members in the name of the malton uprising. They're more a loose umbrella group than an event; an event has an end and unfortunatley the MU just seems to get worse and worse with every passing day. Captain Rickety

The Grayside BoG

I think that both Graysides need a new board. The Grayside Board of Groups I am planning on making is a gathering of all groups, zombie and survivor, to talk about how the suburb will be managed. While some may ridicule this because of zombie groups being in this board, I think that it will allow equalness in all people in both West and East Grayside. Let me know what you all think of! ----Christopher Alloy

Great Suburb Group Massacre 2010

All suburb wiki pages are undergoing a clean up to remove inactive groups from the group listing (see here: this suburb's groups). If you are a group currently listed in this suburb, you will be contacted on your group's talk page within the next few days and asked to reply, indicating that you are active in this suburb. Groups that fail to reply within two weeks of being contacted will automatically be removed from the suburbs where they are listed.

We're posting here in the hopes that more groups will be aware of the clean up and can respond appropriately, since our team does not have the time nor the manpower to seek out every group in-game or track down its group members elsewhere on the wiki. If you know that some groups in your suburb do not check the wiki, please be a good neighbor and let them know that they NEED to check it for this, or else they will be unlisted in the near future.

The wiki members coordinating the cleanup will be using the table below to track their progress in communicating with the various groups. Please do not edit it if you are not involved with The Great Suburb Group Massacre 2010 team.
