Osmondville

Im in osmondville, wheres the best place to meet some of your members? --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 16:17, 14 May 2008 (BST)

Hmm, well we don't really have staff pinned down in each suburb... The crews mostly roam around and go where they're needed. There are some folks in Scarletwood, Roftwood and Wray Heights at the moment, though. --John Cannonfodder 22:01, 2 June 2008 (BST)

The Great Suburb Group Massacre

Check-Mark-Reviewed.jpg Group Confirmed.
This group was confirmed active. Thank you for your reply.

Currently the suburb in question is Osmondville but one response to this query will be all that is needed to protect your group link on all suburb pages. I know this is a may seem a stupid request but its for all groups regardless of size. Thank you. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 11:25, 13 July 2008 (BST)

This group is confirmed as active. Do not remove them from any suburb listings. --Adavastor 17:10, 31 July 2008 (BST)

The Great Suburb Group Massacre, 2009

Check-Mark-Reviewed.jpg Group Confirmed.
This group was confirmed active. Thank you for your reply.

Occasionally, general checks are done of group activity. This may seem like a stupid question, but it's for all groups, regardless of size. Linkthewindow  Talk  11:23, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

Yes, this group is active - Stephen Krantz 17:48, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
Thanks! --Pedentic 17:46, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

Following on from the above

Do you know that the MFD is listed on more than half of Malton's suburbs? Are you guys really active in 51 suburbs? It works out at about 1 guy a suburb (Based on your stats page numbers?) Do you have a central leadership or is it up to individual members?

It just seems a bit excessive. Your even listed in 4 suburbs with no fire departments! I'm more than happy to clear up the listings if you can give me an indication of where you main focus is.

Thanks. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 21:53, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

Well, I haven't counted them, but this might be right. I can't summarily answer your question for all suburbs in one go, but it might help to give a short overview of MPD operations, so you can see what is happening: Like the other DEM core groups the MPD organizes the play in division (=city quadrants) and districts (=areas of 5 suburbs). In a division each group has some players in each district. These form one or two teams (meaning: there are players of several groups playing together in a team) and these teams roam the suburbs of their districts, helping where help is needed most. So, there is not necessarily a permanent presence in a suburb, but these teams are there if it is necessary (or to scout for some good trouble). In some areas of the city it is handled differently in the way that teams are formed out of members of one DEM core group only (example: MFU in the Southeast). But usually teams roam 5 suburb districts. I think it's sensible to list the groups in this way, because citizens might want to be able to see where they can turn for help in their area.
I only list a DEM member group on a suburb page if there is a team operating in the relevant district and that group has active players in that team. That's the policy I suggest to other members of DEM groups. Of course some changes in the organizational structure might habe been missed (teams disbanding or whatever). The best way to keep the lists up-to-date is propably to challange the group in question if they are active in the particular suburb you have in mind. Then an officer from that area will usually respond (or, if not, it's obviously alright to update the relevant page). If a group is active somewhere can't be answered in one go for 100 suburbs, I think.
Anyways - thanks for the heads up. It's good to see someone reads the lists. - Stephen Krantz 22:17, 1 March 2009 (UTC)
Thanks, its pretty much Just the MFD. No other group is listed in even half the suburbs they are. Ill have a look at their command page, and try and work it out. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 22:26, 1 March 2009 (UTC)
Right, based on the listing and manually chacking if each listed commander is still active, the MFD appear to have no organised people in the following regions. (To use their own mapping)
  • NW4
  • NE2
  • NE3
  • NE5
  • SW2
  • SW3
  • SW4
  • SW5
  • SE1

Would this be a fair reflection stephen? As a high ranking DEM'er I'm sure you can flag this up on Brainstock. I'll check back in two weeks. Thanks. RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 19:10, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

SW-2: MFD are active there. SW-3: currently no MFD. SW-4 and SW-5 are closed districts (no permanent DEM group members there). I'll go and shake the NW, NE and SE folks, so they can respond. - Stephen Krantz 19:52, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
Thanks, don't want new recruits wandering off! --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 19:58, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
SE-1: No permanent MFD presence. The MFD presence might be overstated in some areas of the SE. I'll check with some other officers some time in the next week. I'm on vacation from UD for the moment, but I'll try and follow up on this. --William Told and Co. ಠ_ಠ ಠ_ಠ ಠ_ಠ 23:28, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the info guys, as no more is forthcoming im going to trim some of the listings, which should leave you active in about 40 suburbs. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 18:53, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

I pity the fool, who combat revives

Ok, you got two option people. Either you tell me that jacko667 isn't a member of your group, or you tell me that he is. I really hope he isn't, because if he is, one of your members combat revived my zombie, which btw only had zombie skills, while I was taking a nap in a building I just ruined. So, what's it going to be? J.I 18:49, 31 March 2009 (BST)

Sorry, Sir, I'm afraid roster information is confidential and can't be disclosed to the public. How exactly do you feel you have been aggravated? - Stephen Krantz 06:35, 2 April 2009 (BST)

Well J.I - You are the enemy in that your a zed in a ruined building. I didnt have the ammo or the AP but the building was needed. So as you have no breather skills you were no threat alive so yes I CR'd you and quite frankly it paid off. It was either blow 20+ odd AP and some ammo or use 11ap. Whatever the choice the building was repaired.

Jacko667

My friends, the problem is that I work as a zker. A life cultist if you wish to call me that. *Sigh* J.I 14:47, 2 April 2009 (BST)

Our development department is constantly working on improving our DNA scanners so we can distinguish friendly zeds from hostile ones. Albeit to no avail yet. Anyways, even the very cooperative suspects get in the way of repair attempts. Sorry for the inconvenience. You can always jump out a window, you know. - Stephen Krantz 16:00, 2 April 2009 (BST)

HELP!!

Can you and your group help me save fort perryn. The people's Liberation Army of Malton need your group's help badly.--Rogue Medic 16:18 1 October 2009

NE District Map

Hi there. Regarding this image which is a map of the NE District. According to the image description it is used by the DEM, MFD, and MPD. The image is used on a handful of pages (11 to be precise), such as Nurton Walk Fire Station. I'm just wondering if your group still uses this map or if it serves any purpose to you. If so, you'll notice that district 3 and district 5 look almost identical in color. I could easily fix that for you with a photo editing program and upload a better version of the map that has more distinct districts, however if this is no longer in use then it's probably not worth the effort and it would be easier to remove the images all together, since they aren't pretty to look at. You can respond either here or on my talk page, no hurry, I'll wait to hear back from you :) --GANG Giles Sednik CAPD 21:21, 8 December 2010 (UTC)

Any response here will be enough, but please list suburbs you're actually active in. This is a generic message and not directed at any particular group. They never lynch children, babies—no matter what they do they are whitewashed in advance 23:57, 21 January 2011 (UTC)

Great Suburb Group Massacre 2013

I'm a volunteer helping to do some janitorial work on the suburb pages of the wiki. As part of that, we're double-checking in which suburbs each group is active. Currently, you're listed in one or more suburbs, in addition to using a radio frequency. If you would like to continue being listed, then please respond within the next month with the radio frequency you are using and a list of every suburb where you are currently active. If we don't hear back from you or we can't get the information we need, we'll be removing you from the lists, but you're welcome to re-add yourself later. If you have any questions, feel free to visit our informational page. Thanks. --RWSig1.png RWSig2.pngFoD PK Praise Rando!10:09, 25 October 2013 (BST)

Because your group hasn't responded within a month, your suburb and radio listings have been removed. Feel free to relist your group. Bob Moncrief EBDW! 15:36, 26 November 2013 (UTC)
We are still here! Our main base of operations is around the Richmond Hills area so I added the MFD back on that suburb only. --Robbie McGregor 18:55, 25 March 2014 (UTC)
