Hm....It's a bit of a stub,isn't it?--User:Axe27/Sig 14:49, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

Then make it not a stub.--Karekmaps?! 14:54, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
What is there to add?--User:Axe27/Sig 14:56, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
Interestingly I stumbled on this the other day, myself... I think it belongs under external links, no? it is quite useful... --WanYao 15:27, 19 November 2007 (UTC) ... frell me, it is already there... --WanYao 15:29, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

What could be added? Drawbacks. Known bugs, though I don't know of any yet... just started using it. Suggestions for updates, maybe (anyone know who made this thing?). -- Atticus Rex mfu pif Δ 03:59, 20 November 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, I made it. I'll draw up a list of bugs that I can remember and add info to this page. --Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 18:11, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
I made another one, before this one, which is ... in some ways useful. They're both beta grade. --Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 18:13, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
Glad this got spotted, btw, as it's spurred me to redesign the interface (fixing the Firefox button-gap bug in the process), test it as working in Opera & Safari (fixing the transparent overlays in the process), add a billboard overlay and update it with the new fort buildings included. Cheers, guys. --Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 22:50, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
Cheers for making it, I actually find the map really useful, it's much quicker and easier to use than the red rum map.--Thekooks 18:53, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

maps for specific suburbs?

Just a suggestion, but maybe have grids of 9 suburbs, so you click on one, and it only shows you the 9 neighbouring suburbs. No-genius 14:10, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

A zoom function? Interesting. -- Atticus Rex mfu pif Δ 06:31, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
I played around with a zoom function ages ago, using the CSS zoom property, but it glitched horribly and I gave up. One of the problems the interface has is that what you're seeing is just clever image overlay and image swapping. The data I used to make up the maps was hard-coded in JavaScript arrays, and takes approximately two minutes to generate a map. So, a better solution would be to drive it from a database, but then that means starting the entire project from scratch again. Zooming, apart from making the squares bigger, would not, at this stage, provide any additional info. Although, that would be cool. --Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 11:16, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
