---The current Pegton barricade plan needs improving. It lists all police stations and hospitals as EHB, effectively sealing newbies off from the key resources they need to survive and level up quickly. Throughout the suburb, there are many poorly placed entry points that seem needlessly put in clumps in areas like the SW. Clumping entry points around non-resource buildings doesn't really help anyone.

This plan will be somewhat UBP compliant and will give newbies the chance to grab a few FAKs and guns, whereas the current plan prevents new players from accessing these vital resources. This plan also uses the UBP concept of making all schools and fire stations easily recognizable entry points. It also ensures that every building in the suburb is within 2 blocks of an entry point, and every primary TRP (hospitals, police stations, and NechroTechs) not designated as VSB is one block away from an entry point. Every entry point is within 3 blocks of at least two other entry points so that new survivors can be guaranteed an easy-to-reach safe house, even if their first choice was overcaded or overrun. I totally agree on the need for change and generally support you suggestion.

Please consider the following minor changes:

[82,55] Dinham Alley Police Dept: EHB -> VSB (in exchange for)

[82,56] Howes Square School: VSB -> EHB (=> PD more important for non-freerunners than school)

[87,54] St Matthew's Hospital: EHB -> VSB (Hospitals should be VSB, EHB hospital 1SW, could serve as EP from cemetary 1NW)

The changes would increase the number of VSB buildings by 1, dropping the rate of EHB:VSB to 2,5:1.

Please update the BP fast (with or without my proposed changes), since the suggestion has already been published for more than a month - and the suggested new BP for Edgecombe requires this new BP.--Paul Power 16:17, 8 July 2008 (BST)
